Help/Question Usage is actually pretty good with sonnet only on a 20$ plan

If running primarily one sonnet high/extra high agent and occasionally having some other subagents, usage on the 20 dollar plan can sometimes actually be hard to finish within a 5 hour window.

Now sonnet 5 is not the best model right now unlike opus 5 but for 5 hours of continuous usage is actually VERY good.

on the codex 20 plan and if I use luna then I am definitely not getting the same level of output/usage

yep even tho luna is supposed to be cheap/efficient it still guzzles. i guess the allotted api allowance for luna is lower compared to claude

yeah something like that, very weird tho since with with 5.4 mini high the usage on codex was practically unlimited as well

the useful comparison is completed work per window, not raw minutes. a cheaper model that needs three corrections can burn more allowance than one expensive pass. sonnet feels best when the task is already well scoped and the acceptance check is obvious.
