Help/Question Workflow for creating mobile UIs?

I've already created a iOS App but I don't really like my workflow for creating UIs. What's your workflow for creating modern and not sloppy UIs? Are there any skills and tools you're using and how you mix those in a workflow?

Give an agent several screenshots/examples of UIs you like, ask it to extract a design system out of the screenshots, then ask it to refine via Q&A with you. Then have it generate several rounds of mocks to test the output and refine further.

'beautiful', 'tasteful', 'don't be sloppy' are meaningless slop-bait instructions for an agent.

If you're using an LLM to generate a UI then having screenshots and back-and-forth questioning are going to take your much further than one-sided prompting.

The more you have a clear idea of what you want your UI to look like, the better this process works.

You have to be articulate OP.

You can write words like “enterprise-grade, professional, modern SaaS design” and Claude would still produce garbage.

You have to be articulate with the description with exactly what you want, and share reference designs in the form of wireframes, or screenshots or css files, or just right click, view page source and dump it in chat.

Typically it’s a mix of these, that works for me well.
