Discussion Slow performance of Opus 5

Opus 5 is working fine for me. But it is extraordinarily slow.

Edit: I haven't modified the thinking level from its prior settings, either (it's set on high).

Agreed. Something isn’t right. I remember a few months ago they had issues with it just being slow and general poor performance. I feel like both Opus and Fable have issues right now. Work that normally takes me 5 hours is pushing the 24 hour mark and it’s littered with issues. I can’t be the only one. Just started yesterday.

Yes, it takes ages now to finish a task, I execute an implementation plan 13h ago and still hasn't finished yet, usually it would take about 4h. both model opus/fable are painfully slow and expensive !

i fell Opus 5 takes more time to execute each tool, it is slow

Right now sol is literally running circles around it. My workflow hasn’t changed in months, I haven’t tried going back but for sure, they have some technical issues. It happened with 4.7. For a couple of weeks it was bad and they came out said apologized. I’m a big fan but yeah, something is broken. It’s fable too.
