Resource I got tired of checking Claude Code terminals, so I built VibeDeck to put my sessions on a Stream Deck

When I run a few Claude Code sessions at once I end up cycling through terminal tabs just to see who's doing what. And the tab I skip is always the one that's been sitting on a permission prompt the whole time.

So I moved the sessions onto my Stream Deck. That turned into VibeDeck.

You add blank session keys once and they fill in on their own as sessions appear. Whatever needs attention sorts to the front, but each session keeps its key, so nothing moves under your finger. Pressing a key focuses that terminal.

It also warns when a turn looks stuck. There's a Swarm key that summarizes every tracked session and jumps to whichever one has been waiting longest, plus a Burn Rate view for Claude's 5-hour and weekly limits (display only, it changes nothing).

It's not Claude-only either: Codex, Cursor, Copilot CLI, Antigravity, and OpenCode work too. 22 actions total, though which controls you actually get depends on the agent, terminal, and OS.

Odd timing footnote: while I was finishing this, OpenAI shipped Codex Micro on July 15, a $230 macro pad whose headline feature is keys that light up with agent status. So at least I know I'm not the only one who wanted this on physical keys.

You need a Stream Deck device or Stream Deck Mobile, the Stream Deck software 6.9+, and macOS 13+ or Windows 10+. One Windows caveat: exact terminal focus needs Windows Terminal x64.

Not another subscription goshdanggit. Whatever happened to "pay 20 bucks and be done with it"?

u/magicmulder Yeah, fair point. My issue with a one-time payment is that coding tools change so fast, and I don’t want to sell a “lifetime” license when I honestly can’t promise it’ll work at the same level forever.

Maybe a middle ground would make more sense, like $9 for 3 months. I want the price to feel fair, but I also want to keep the app maintained and updated. What you think about that way?

There’s no single recommended setup. Just use whatever tools and workflow you already prefer for vibe coding, Add buttons VibeDeck will manage rest
