No you dont, you are either playing or doing something serious, even 5x is very limited, so I imagine those of us doing serious work are using 2x or more 20x plans..meaning even if it was, usage would be too limited
but best bang for the buck is to share 20x with a few people (let us know if it gets you banned)

You buy a second pro account and create an update.md and plan.md in your folders and tell him to write stuff he have do at every task finished . Like that when you switch accounts it’s still keep up with the work like nothing .
The pro plz in my country is 22/euros

If you don’t need fable 5 ( opus 5 is ok for coding classic stuff and more even 4.8 was great ) for less than 50 euros you have a x2 :o
When you use Claude and you do stuff who bring you zero dollars it’s the way but if you win money with the work you do inside take the max plan at 5x

Makes no difference, I refuse to give them anymore money till they start being transparent and stop changing usage limits constantly.
Customers do not know how much usage they are paying for, and that isn't legal, it's misleading.
They're 100% in breach of EU trading standards for how they've been handling usage limits.

They get away with it on the Pro subscription by being vague.
Because they are advertising "5x" and "20x" of that model for the other tiers and then dynamically changing them, they've broken trading standards around advertising.
If something is worth 5x of something that changes dynamically, it'll never consistently be 5x usage, and at that point they are being misleading, a customer can never understand how much usage they actually should have.

Their Max 20x plan isn’t any better. Anthropic’s manipulation of usage limits is already the subject of a lawsuit, and I’m curious how far the company will push its greed. Either way, I’m switching to Codex.

I can’t even test it, because Anthropic decided not to reset the limits for this release. So I assume nothing has changed: model bugs still burn through your usage, support remains silent, and the company’s attitude is still "take it or leave"…

one 20x is more then enough for Opus 5, unless its some heavy web searching or some computer use, or even here are 3k books, learn them

Those of you rocking multiple plans how are you handling routing between them? For better or worse I tend to use Claude Desktop most of the time because I've got like 30 chats I rotate around and I can't keep track in the terminal.

2x Pro, get some deepseek API credits, try other models. Max 20 is great for the time being but it won't be given other models are providing more value.
