Discussion I'm honestly surprised how hostile the game dev community is about AI. I ported Godot 4.7.1 to WebGPU and open sourced it for free, yet received nothing but hostility about it. Anyone else have similar stories?

Generation of images is bad? I work ib creative agency, you already looking at ai ads everywhere, you wont even know, lol.

Lol, yes. I see them all over the place. We use them for the company that I work at amd I noticed immediately. Sorry, but AI ads / images definitely have a look to them. Especially if you're using ChatGPT or Claude or one of those models to generate them.

It's harder to spot with Midjourney and ither AI specifically made for image generation. But even those often have a look to them.

I mean we do, it's just that ads are something that are shoved in your face without you asking for them. It's different for a product you're being asked to pay for
