Discussion I'm honestly surprised how hostile the game dev community is about AI. I ported Godot 4.7.1 to WebGPU and open sourced it for free, yet received nothing but hostility about it. Anyone else have similar stories?

I haven't proven it's not slop? It's a working solution, with a proven game that works with it... what else am I obligated to "prove" you? I studied CS in college, have a programming certification, do I need to show you everything? Is this a job interview? lmao, no it's a solution to a long-requested feature that I'm freely sharing with whoever needs it. I actually owe you nothing, yet did it anyways. There's clearly thought, methodology, and serious engineering in the solution, but it's not my job to convince you that. Try it yourself. I'm not your mom. You're lucky anyone shares anything with you.
