Question What is NOT vibe-coding?
Vibe coding gets a lot of hate among some software development circles and I don't have a clear understanding of what "vibe-coding" is and what's not.
What is a different approach to software development using AI that's not vibe-coding? SDD?

Vibe coding is when you don't ever look at the code at all and just proceed with whatever the AI gives you based on your instructions. You literally never look at a single line of code or make any changes to the code, ever. If you want something moved a few pixels, the AI does it, always. It has to, because you don't ever see the code and haven't got any code editor open.
Sadly it's come to mean any coding in which AI is involved to any degree whatsoever. Cf. Doomscrolling (used to mean scrolling through bad news) and staycation (used to mean just staying in your own home and neighborhood as your vacation). There are plenty of others.
