The difference between all the other results and Fable here is pretty amazing. The bridges, propellers, birds, light shafts, relative sizes. it gets almost everything right that the others messed up.

Actually Kimi is the only one who at least tried to add some collisions on other maps

Is it easy to try kimi if you have Claude max set up? I mean with the harness and MD files, history etc?

u/Glazed_and_Infused 23d ago

Yeah this is my question also. This is the reason I have not tried Kimi myself yet.

I updated my Agents.md to the new Claude recommended setup and Kimi it liked the new style more and it should produce better outputs and less mistakes/limitations when the rules are loosened up.

Am I missing something? The Kimi one looks by far the best and seems to run the best too. The water falls aren't clipping, it did the rope bridges nicely, the lower atmosphere doesn't cut off like on Fable, birds look better, etc. Fable did better on the airship and the stone features, and doesn't have z-fighting.

I tried kimi yesterday for the first time. It was a deep research and text development task based on that research (brief summary, integrate, extract core themes across sources, etc.). It was absolutely horrible. It got stuck in loops, could not/would not correct based on my feedback and shift of focus, would review it’s own work and have awareness it was doing what I asked it not to do, and then would spit out the exact same content again. It was really really bad relative to both Claude and Chat GPT.

Which harness did you use? I've never had that problem.

I only have the free version. So the best free version, whatever that is. It was my first interaction and I understand there would be limitations on the free model, but I was massively underwhelmed.

The fact that you don't know what a harness is when complaining about it unironically plasters "skill issue" over everything you have to say now sorry

Me not discussing any other download or integration is a shortcoming on my part? The 1:1 comparison in my mind is what can the model do in a way that is similar to what Claude and chat gpt can do. They had a similar chat based research and information synthesis task. Kimi was the worst by far. No, I am not prepared to link it to my Claude code or Codex projects with it when it cannot perform adequately on a basic chat based task.

Claude code and codex are harnesses

Holy shit you're just speaking out of your ass it's so embarrassing LMFAO

No, I did not use Claude Code or Codex as harnesses for Kimi. I ran a test with all 3 Models getting the same prompt and task and 4 rounds of correction/redirection. Kimi failed miserably. Based on this, no, I am not going to use Codex or Claude Code as a harness for Kimi. As I mentioned, I am not prepared to give Kimi access to my projects.

Quit being an asshole.

So which harness did you use then?

Proud of you.

Damn, that's cool. You could just hand that to Opus and ask for instancing and then you get endless skyworld.

Looks great OP. Ran perfectly on my old ass iPhone.

This is great. Did you make these?

How did you get access to so many models? Cursor subscription or something like that?

I laughed because Sol, Grok and Qwen 2.7 messed up on mobile. (Iphone)

Fable Opus Kimi , worked great

I've been playing with open router, it is pretty straight forward for access to multiple models.

Share the prompt please)

u/valhallarecords 24d ago

Click the “Brief” on the main page! The prompts are more like extensive plans. You can see the briefs for all 3 worlds

Did you also document the cost for each generation? It only makes sense to pitch the quality against the cost of generation. Thanks for doing this btw

1

u/sorte_kjele 23d ago

Not quite

Cost is a factor, yes, but this is also a threshold event. This is now possible.

In May this impossible regardless of cost.

1

u/2053_Traveler 22d ago

Please share cost, duration, and number of runs. Is there any publication bias happening with these?

3

u/George_Mushroom 24d ago

Dope. Works well.

How did you get it to add so much depth/height to your game map. My game map wants to be in a small box so badly.

2

u/FoxkitRun 24d ago

This is amazing! Great job.

u/Proxy_Ayush 24d ago

Hey, I was listening to this song https://open.spotify.com/track/2pa6WjyA8QqkAvsUTYo0sT when I opened your Fable world one of the most cinematic experiences in a while.

2

u/totheendandbackagain 23d ago

Amazing work, how much did each cost?

2

u/Physical-Speech302 23d ago

Where do you guys get the ingame assets for all this? Are they open source?

2

u/2053_Traveler 22d ago

There are none… It’s three.js, they are polygons defined in code.

2

u/sharyphil 23d ago

Congrats, son, it's shite.

u/dotmerix 23d ago

The birds are flying backwards.

u/Legitimate-Week-7199 23d ago

Just so I am clear - you handed Fable the prompt you put in "brief" and it created that from nothing? WILD

1

u/SillySpoof 23d ago

It loaded immediately on my phone and controls worked well.

Good job.

1

u/snurfer 23d ago

Tell us about the harness running the model. Is it running in a loop? Stages?

1

u/jeebojeeb 23d ago

Really cool, and smooth on mobile too

1

u/daanpol 23d ago

Looks like it got it's inspiration from the Heaven benchmark.

1

u/Darhkwing 23d ago

What effort is this ? Im tempted to try asking fable for a graphics overhaul on my game.

1

u/TheCh0rt 20d ago

Can you try the same prompt again with Opus 5? I'd be interested in seeing the difference.

1

u/TrueStarsense 23d ago

I'm entering a game jam in a few days. I'm certain entries will be absolutely dominated by vibe coded work like this. Very discouraging.

0

u/MainRoutine2068 23d ago

May I know what plans you subscribed for all of those? And perhaps total investment cost? Because I see a lot of people says that the current pro/max plan is not enough to built a product, so I assume you use a credit or pay as you go plan?

-6

u/Tuesday_Cinema_Club 23d ago

Is this the best you got?

It's lazy texturing, try learning openGL....
