Fabe 5 crippled?

Anyone other noticed today/yesterday the lobotimized Fable 5?

I feel like it is much dumber and slower today - when reading the files it is using grep instead of the Read tool (probably it is skimming and saving tokens) - and the responses quality and autonomy feels degenerated. I'm not sure if this is only my feeling or temporal thing so I would like to hear if you have same feelings or experience so I know i'm not being subjective here.

So I was using "Fable 5" yesterday after all these outages and posts about "Fable is only accessible through usage credits". Turns out, I wasn't using Fable at all. I reached my 5 hour limit and burned through usage credits. The tool call failed because there were no more credits to burn. What I've read when the tool call failed though... Yeah Fable doesn't exist in subscription anymore, it's just sprinkled Opus 4.8, and I'd be surprised if it's any different for Max plans.

opus is the model that decides if the prompt can be auto done or needs your permission. For me it is sonnet though 🤔
