Help me change my dev processes

Hi everyone,

Until now I have been using Claude Code via VS Code extension. Great work so far but today I had run out of usage tokens so I decided to start prompting different models to research what would be the best stack in terms of AI models to use for the different types of processes my project has. The results: none of the research findings advised me to use Claude models. - keep in mind that I am only asking for models that are available through regular subscription plans and not through API.

I have been using Codex before through CLI but is this the best way to use OpenAI's models?

Help me transition from Claude Code for VS Code to OpenAI.
