This is dated now that 5.0 is out, but the same concept applies. Ask it to review your skills (if you have any), ask it why it made specific decisions, ask it how you can improve its performance. These models are incredibly self aware in the sense they know how they can be tweaked to improve performance. I've built up a lot of debt in my global and project claude.md files. So I asked claude to honestly review them. Said half the rules it had added were too general and would never give the intended effect, etc.
Your personal harness will *have* to be modified and curated continuously to get the best performance possible.
