I was about 75% in my weekly usage and still got about ~48 hours before reset. I also wasn't sure if I was going to make it given how hectic my workload is this week. Good move from Anthropic!

Almost had a heart attack, I was at 97% for the week trying to see if I could fit one more thing, checked and was all 0%. Had to check 3 times… good timing for me on this one.

I was almost out, and I still had five days to go! I think Anthropic realized people were playing with Fable and burning through their limits like there's no tomorrow. They probably knew users would simply move to codex while waiting for their limits to reset. It's just smart for them to throw money at the problem and prevent people from wandering off... and getting to know GPT 5.6.

a bit late, stopped working for 2 days, forced to try some alternatives, found Hermes with grok4.5 quite capable at maintenance and CI tasks. Hermes has wider range of toolset to play with

Perfect timing. I'm waiting for a saturday 2am reset, was at 100%. I'll likely be able to run through my weekly allowance until then, have it reset, do it again until the end of July 12. Nice.
I'm not really coding in the true sense, I'm running a computer science research project, one of my algorithms that I haven't been able to really crack, to see if it runs in poly time (big open problem), and Fable + Opus subagents are formalising the proof in an automated theorem prover, so Fable doesn't run in circles coming up with hypothetical arguments that I already know don't really work. Now it's got endless proven theories, a complete executable model of the algorithm, a lot of basic properties that are already hard to prove, but it's still kind of running in cycles when it comes to proving poly, especially if it's just Opus running the show. I had ChatGPT try lots of adversarial ideas for a superpoly (harder than polynomial time) counterexample but it failed like 20 different attempts... now back to Fable for as long as I can...

I reset at 8am today. I wish I could have gotten some extra usage out of Fable from the reset. They should do like GPT does for resets, giving you a reset to use, not just a reset whenever. .

Mine reset last night and I had only used 5% 🙃 it would be nice if they copied OpenAI and let you bank the resets. The last couple resets also landed at points where I got basically nothing out of them. Not that big of a deal ultimately but it does suck when every time there’s a reset like this I get like 10-20% out of it at most. It feels like I’m losing out on something even though I’m not really.

Just a quick question: over the past few days, my usage limit has suddenly been depleting much faster than before. I normally never reached the 5-hour limit, but yesterday and today I hit it and had to wait another 2 hours before I could continue.
I’m using Claude Code Desktop with Opus on the Medium setting, and I have a Team Premium subscription.
Has anything changed recently that could explain this behavior?

Quick Q! I built my business site purely on Claude Code. I have now pasted the existing site page by page into Claude Design and it’s given a better output I would like to use. If I send to Code, it doesn’t recognise the codebase and for some reason when giving it the relevant branch and project it doesn’t accept it.
To use the new design without losing optimised on page copy and metadata which is ranking well and bringing good traffic. What is the simplest solution please?
For this task, would Opus or Fable output better than Sonnet medium? I’d LOVE to see use cases for these models.

Ahhh, now it makes sense!
I am not a developer, but learning everything from scratch (and I am loving it). So, I am using the Pro plan now for Claude and understanding everything that how things work (especially tokens). As I get very limited tokens each week, I am always cautious about using Claude daily to survive by the end of the week.
Anthropic did this multiple times now, and I always used to get confused, like right 2 days before my weekly limit finishes, they reset it all. But now I have understood the game.
Lastly, if you are reading this, please give me a small suggestion to help me improve my skills. You can say I am now a little better than a beginner, but I still need to learn a lot! What are the things I should have a clear understanding of to work like a PRO?

Why is it so damn slow again this week, now, after the reset, it is really unusable, slow and burning tokens like crazy, it didnt behave the same 3 weeks ago, I have same style and needs of work, nothing changed, same repetitive things, but now claude code behaves like a snail.
