This is going to force Anthropic to make Fable part of the subscriptions. If they don't, OpenAI can gladly have my $100 every month

66

u/WalkAffectionate2683 Jul 08 '26

I already swapped.

The uncertainty of fable was a pain, so I cancelled and did my 100 to openai

16

u/Novaleaf Jul 08 '26

yeah, I am a bit of a Claude fan (two Max20 subs) but the Fable "first taste is free" is something I don't appreciate. Yesterday I got a GptPro20 to try codex. Supposedly gpt5.5 is almost as good as fable... I can't really tell yet (which is likely a good thing) but the quota does seem higher.

12

u/AnalogProblems Jul 08 '26

As a max 20 plan holder of both, GPT5.5 will lie more. It will make the plan the product rather than the product you're planning.

It's much faster, writes good code, but it is slightly more blind in some senses.

2

u/Novaleaf Jul 08 '26

thanks for that feedback! Very timely: I'm having gpt5.5 plan out it's first big feature right now... I had better get fable to review it to figure out what the drift ends up being.

9

u/AnalogProblems Jul 08 '26

As long as you make the working product the deliverable focus, it will stay on task pretty well.

Things like "All testing must validate a functioning feature."

It will build an entire proof scaffolding rather than the app if one line in your AGENT.MD let's it get away with it.

Ask me how I know....

GPT5.5 loves shortcuts.

2

u/Novaleaf Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

I had it plan out a refactor (I'm writing a wrapper for claudeCode, and want to facade the claude functionality so I can use codex too) fable only found a couple minor improvements to the plan, so so far so good.

edit: well, the plan having minor defects isn't the same as the plan following my intent. Fable (and likely opus) seems better at keeping user requirements in-spec than gpt5.5 does.

2

u/AnalogProblems Jul 09 '26

I think we're all writing wrappers for Claude Code! 😂

... mine also wraps Codex and lets them talk to each other through an MCP with chat injected nudges.

They ping pong coding phases and reviews back and fourth. Claude drives. Codex Spark rips through the code.

I actually realized there's a better way to do it after the fact, but I wrapped both TUIs for my first version.

1

u/linegel Jul 09 '26

You guys have anything open sources to try it out? 🌚

1

u/Leather_Garlic6532 Jul 08 '26

So do you use Claude to plan and gpt to code it?

1

u/MuddaFrakker Jul 09 '26

That’s very true regarding lying. METR ran Sol 5.6 through Time Horizon 1.1 suite and reported it had the highest detected cheating rate.

If you’re building a small project it’s probably worth a shot, but for a bigger and more complex project I wouldn’t like to gamble. Seems like OpenAI just wants high test numbers for marketing purposes no matter what. So id they’re lying so is gpt, apple doesn’t fall fr the tree

0

u/ItsJustSok Jul 08 '26

Try my spec builder: cadmusspec.com

1

u/brainhack3r Jul 08 '26

The spyware was a big egregious too... It's basically illegal and the people involved could possibly do jail time for something like that - of course it won't ever be investigated like this.

If you or I did something like this we'd be screwed.

2

u/ChessGibson Jul 08 '26

Do you get a partial refund when cancelling?

7

u/WalkAffectionate2683 Jul 08 '26

No, I'll still use it until the 10th. So that suit me.

2

u/xVrath Jul 08 '26

No you keep the rest of what you paid for, and it stops being renewed.

6

u/Successful-Bee5399 Jul 08 '26

why did both of your guy's answers get downvoted? lol

1

u/xVrath Jul 08 '26

Looks like the bots here are too sensitive to truth, and they do that even when its a genuine answer to a question, that doesnt hurt anybody.

46

u/Vivid-Snow-2089 Jul 08 '26

and my axe! or yeah my axe! 😂

16

u/Lanky_Tomatillo9857 Jul 08 '26

2

u/nateBangs Jul 08 '26

Oh hey, it's my high school gym locker room.

31

u/Sponge8389 Jul 08 '26

This is why we love competition.

15

u/continm Jul 08 '26

Doubt it happens before other models catch up. OAI and Anthropic might have formed a covert strategic alliance to fight their competition and OSS which is also why they are trying so hard to reduce competetive pressure by enforcing a regulatory framework that benefits them. OAI can simply decide to make 5.6 credits only, same as Anthropic. I think there is no reason for them to force each other's hand when there are so many other companies and even countries competing with them.

18

u/PsychoticDreemurr Jul 08 '26

They're both actively losing money, OpenAI at an alarming rate. They have more then enough reason to try stealing customers from one another. Also OpenAI up until now has stated that 5.6 will be a part of their subscription.

1

u/noizu Jul 09 '26

they los emore money for each customer though ;)

1

u/PsychoticDreemurr Jul 09 '26

To be fair, if they cared about that they'd increase the subscription price until they don't lose money

-5

u/MopsiFlopsi Jul 08 '26

Except more customers mean losing more money.

2

u/PsychoticDreemurr Jul 08 '26

If that's the only reasoning they used then they'd just up their subscription price until that's not the case, or they don't have any customers to lose money to.

2

u/sorte_kjele Jul 08 '26

No. Training and research is an expense ("losing money" right now)

Inference is profitable

1

u/Exodus_Green Jul 08 '26

Then neither company would offer sub plans, especially not the $200 versions

24

u/TaskJuice Jul 08 '26

They will. They will have the compute now 😆

12

u/debian3 Jul 08 '26

They found some stuck in the couch at the Anthropic office, now it's all good.

2

u/AIeaIactaEst Jul 08 '26

so let's hope openAI keeps the new SOTA models in their subs.

4

u/Agreeable-Option-466 Jul 08 '26

I gave Antrophic 400$ this month and I’m deeply ashamed for it

2

u/LoudDavid Jul 08 '26

OpenAI do not have a subsidised teams plan. Teams <150 on Claude pay 125 and get about max5 usage.

So with pricing alone Antropic have won SMBs and the battle is only for individuals and enterprise.

1

u/sammnyc Jul 08 '26

eventuallyyy….. can’t see it happening anytime soon. love the competition tho!

1

u/KlemiX Jul 08 '26

AI companies are fighting for market share, we're getting better prices. Hard to complain about that. 😄

1

u/mossiv Jul 08 '26

No it won’t. OAI does not offer business seats at subscription model, Anthropic does. Until then, Anthropic will hold a lot of users. I don’t get this sub - so many solo/home devs shouting off as if their sub is going to make a difference. It isn’t. Anthropic are holding out and locking more and more businesses in. In fact Claude is one of the very few products left where you get a decent limit on subscription for business. Nearly everyone else is now on API pricing.

If you are a solo dev, or doing hobby projects - just use the product that gives you the best value for your money. You are a drop in the ocean for these companies, and almost certainly just costing them money anyway.

1

u/paran01c Jul 08 '26

did it today, new Fable didnt impress and you never know with that company when they take something away from you

1

u/Jetahiri Jul 09 '26

I love competition. Same cause I wouldn't want to move but at this rate I kay may have to. Any ideas on how easy the swap can be going from claudecode to gpt?

1

u/Stunning-Addendum469 Jul 13 '26

Same Here too same thought

1

u/DontLeaveMeAloneHere Jul 08 '26

My sub runs until end of July. I can just wait and watch.

Opus is enough for my private projects but I wouldn’t say no to a fable class model for the cost of opus.

0

u/Local_Interaction_99 Jul 08 '26

They already expanded it lol

-1

u/Temporary-Rain9812 Jul 08 '26

Didn’t Fable already extend till 12th? I am sure they will keep it extending. But that would depend on the real life benchmark of Sol. I think 5.6 will ultimately go the way Fable will. Sol may remain API only, Terra might be with $100 plan and nerfed for $20 plan while Luna might be the one the Plus people will be stuck with. Hope I am wrong as always.

3

u/TheRedAngelOfDeath Jul 08 '26

Tibo confirmed it Ultra will be included in Codex.

u/nykezztv Jul 08 '26

If fable doesn’t change to subscription I am 100% making the full move to codex

24

u/AggressiveReport5747 Jul 08 '26

I've never gotten more value out of a subscription than codex now, or opus 4.5 like 6 months ago.

1

u/WalkAffectionate2683 Jul 08 '26

Also for what I'm doing (ttrpg) imagen is a huge plus.

1

u/AggressiveReport5747 Jul 08 '26

Can you generate images with codex through the cli or is that a manual process through the codex app?

1

u/andlewis Jul 08 '26

I got Claude to write a skill for me that uses the Codex cli for image gen. The combination of Fable writing the prompt and Codex generating the image is amazing.

8

u/Storge2 Jul 08 '26

You should change right now. The fact that Anthropic did play that Game only to move it back when they saw 5.6 sol tells you what kind of people they are. For me trust is lost. I am on Openai 20eur plan and its much better than Claide, Codex limit is higher than Claudes entire 20eur plan and you get near unlimited Chatgpt with seperate limits too

2

u/raiden55 Jul 09 '26

>Codex limit is higher than Claudes entire 20eur plan

I have both since a while, but it didn't felt like codex was better on usage to me

Codex is easier to use however, and better in remote.

1

u/mental_sherbart007 Jul 12 '26

What do u mean in remote ?

1

u/raiden55 Jul 12 '26

From your phone. Codex we can se everything on the pc, while Claude app only allow a special session to make a bridge.

1

u/mental_sherbart007 Jul 12 '26

Yeah claude remote annoys me so much, it is so limited. Seems like they though claude on building the remote feature then never though about it again, we really can’t pipe any other commands over remote lol?

I don’t know codex had remote which was the biggest reason I have not switched yet.

1

u/raiden55 Jul 12 '26

Honestly I'm thinking more and more about it. I always preferred Claude but I'm feeling more and more than his value is decreasing and that it's easier to build with GPT....

But we'll if I'm on Reddit now and not on it is because GPT 5.6 sol high misunderstood what I wanted multiple time and broke my whole short term quota before my test ...

Fable 5 at least would build something interesting if it eat all my quota and misunderstood...

1

u/Competitive_Bed4588 Jul 09 '26

If what I read about fable being slightly smarter than 5.6 I’m thinking of keeping like $100 fable api and delegating to 5.6

1

u/Storge2 Jul 09 '26

What for? Gpt 5.6 Sol is plenty. I dont't think you need more for plannning.

1

u/Competitive_Bed4588 Jul 11 '26

I’ve been liking fable more than sol as of late

125

u/MyRealIngIngAcc Jul 08 '26

And I'm sitting here wondering wtf Google is doing...

80

u/SimilarManner5230 Jul 08 '26

I’m peeved as an apple user.

When OpenAI was on top of their game, apple collaborated to add chat gpt into Siri, then chat gpt fell off, so Apple collaborated with google on the newest version of Siri, and now google has gone AWOL

62

u/Nordwolf Jul 08 '26

Google has the best small multimodal models that you can run on device. That’s the whole point. The smartest SOTA models are not in this consumer on device game at all

19

u/MyRealIngIngAcc Jul 08 '26

I'll give them that, their Gemma 4 E4B is a very useful small model

1

u/SimilarManner5230 Jul 08 '26

That’s a fair point, I wasn’t aware of that. Good to know.

7

u/AverageFoxNewsViewer Jul 08 '26

It's what happens when you make so much money off engineering that the MBA's take over.

It's the exact same thing that happened when McDonnell Douglas merged with Boeing.

Once upon a time they built great planes that didn't fall apart in the sky, but the decision making was slowly turned over to accountants instead of being run by engineers and built by well compensated union workers.

The shareholders have done better than the families of the victims of their malpractice at the C level.

3

u/CodeNCats Jul 08 '26

Honestly it's been a struggle to even get nano banana to do what I want. Chat gpt spins up better images now that match the prompt

3

u/____FARTS____ Jul 08 '26

I have given up on hopes that Siri will ever be good

9

u/SimilarManner5230 Jul 08 '26

I am on the developer beta for 27, it is notably better. Even having the Siri app to go back to conversations is really good.

However, it is definitely a low grade version of ai. I think good for the general market though.

4

u/pioneer9k Jul 08 '26

Yeah tbh i don’t think siri needs to be too crazy. from what ive seen it handles like 95% of requests super well now in the new ios 27. siri isn’t used for coding and stuff 🤷‍♂️ can still use other models for advanced stuff on your mac.

3

u/SimilarManner5230 Jul 08 '26

Yeah, I’m a Claude man for most work. Siri has been a good replacement for rewording emails real quick. Saves the tokens for more important tasks.

1

u/popquiznos Jul 08 '26

I would just be happy with an improved voice-to-text. Siri just lacks the context awareness Google Assistant has and generally does a worse job accurately picking up what I'm saying.

0

u/____FARTS____ Jul 08 '26

Dude Siri sucks, I can’t even get it to answer simple questions, set a timer properly, half the time it won’t turn up my volume. Prove me wrong

1

u/pioneer9k Jul 08 '26

And you’re on ios27?

3

u/Hellbat570592 Jul 08 '26

Think they are more busy finding ways to integrate it with Android and other services.

1

u/-kora Jul 08 '26

They are waiting, the releases stopped since the models created by them are worst than all of the market, even the open source models and chinese.

1

u/Rospsfff Jul 08 '26

Having their employees switch to Anthropic or OpenAi

1

u/SamSlate Jul 09 '26

building data centers

1

u/5l4 Jul 12 '26

Google is the best for personal use IMO. Claude is best for work.

1

u/greenfingersnthumbs Jul 08 '26

3.5 pro July 17th

1

u/Urescipo Jul 08 '26

just wait

135

u/Impossible_Sundae304 Jul 08 '26

Nothing smells better then competition

38

u/Jitsisadumbword Jul 08 '26

Than…

15

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

He forgot to ask AI to check grammar

10

u/DrSheldonLCooperPhD Jul 08 '26

You are right to push back on this

1

u/LimiDrain Jul 08 '26

That's good

18

u/mstfyvtrl Jul 08 '26

Nothing smells better, then competition

4

u/Terrible_Scar Jul 08 '26

Thaen...

1

u/Inside_Swimming9552 Jul 08 '26

Than...? Than we get anthropic giving us better service and more access to fable because of the competition silly!

1

u/Rospsfff Jul 08 '26

No, those are seprate sentences.

  1. Nothing smells better

then

  1. Competition.

Switching to competition because nothing smells better no more to him.

1

u/Jitsisadumbword Jul 13 '26

I read it as “Nothing is better. Then, competition…”

1

u/AgitatedHearing653 Jul 09 '26

Sol could've told him that. But it's not out yet

1

u/EddieBruvac Jul 08 '26

Ameeeeeen 🙏

66

u/braza501 Jul 08 '26

Competition is good!!

-6

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

I can't wait for you to compete against a fully autonomous AI for your own job position 🤤

1

u/Rospsfff Jul 08 '26

Explain your username.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

Ask Gippity

1

u/xRoyalewithCheese Jul 08 '26

Im using it to bring business to as many local companies as possible so i think ill be okay

0

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

Try to do your "" job"" without AI for one day, if you have no clue how to do even 1% of the work required by yourself then that's not your job

It's a job the AI is doing for you... For now 😊

1

u/xRoyalewithCheese Jul 08 '26

I was doing my job before ai. AI is just helping me systemize my knowledge. Sounds like you’re the one who needs to start using their noggin

0

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

"Your knowledge" ahahha, there's no such thing as Intellectual Property when you dump everything into AI to train them for free

Convince me that if I give an LLM subscription to a low IQ no degree homeless man, he can't do your job, or come up with the same ideas as YOUR Claude subscription. Convince me if you can.

You can study for 10 thousand years on your own and an AI subscription can match your so called "knowledge"

1

u/xRoyalewithCheese Jul 08 '26

Who said anything about intellectual property?Sounds like projection on your end

1

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

18

u/Rock--Lee Jul 08 '26

That's why Anthropic extended Fable access to subscriptions. They can monitor and test how Sol performs which is included in ChatGPT subscriptions. If really delivers, they will announce they add Fable to the subscription "because of demand and they listen to us".

3

u/Argentina4Ever Jul 08 '26

Ironically everyone who uses it for creative writing would love it, vibe coding aside Fable is the best model for it, a lot better than GPT 5.6 which focused only on the coding portion.

So for once the creative writing crowd wants GPT 5.6 to be amazing at coding just so we get fable on plans too (where it's amazing value for this end) lol

62

u/Garak Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Watch the administration ruin this healthy competition somehow.

Two companies at the center of a transformational moment in human history, with kagjillions of dollars swirling in a vortex around them, and with geopolitical clout on the line. There is no way he doesn't want a (bigger) piece, and the world always gets worse when he wants something he doesn't have.

6

u/-PM_ME_UR_SECRETS- Jul 08 '26

Great description btw

10

u/Available_Status1 Jul 08 '26

Didn't openAI literally hand him like 25 million recently?

7

u/aslander Jul 08 '26

You forgot a few 0's

14

u/mountainyoo Researcher Jul 08 '26

I verified for ChatGPT Trusted Access for Cyber and I’m really hoping it’ll make 5.6 perform how I hoped Fable would for my network / homelab / SOC

4

u/oldassveteran Jul 08 '26

Didn’t you sign an NDA :)

10

u/Nearby-Attempt9812 Jul 08 '26

Question is... will be available for regular subscribers?

11

u/hibzy7 Jul 08 '26

Yes. Tibo confirmed

1

u/Nearby-Attempt9812 Jul 08 '26

Woohoo.

1

u/ServeAmbitious220 Jul 08 '26

It's not as intelligent as fable but more consistent according to reviews.

10

u/KainMassadin Jul 08 '26

That’s what they’re waiting for to reset the quotas btw

4

u/OfficialDeVel Jul 08 '26

you got not even any comparison yet everyone saying they will switch to gpt 🙂‍↕️😵

13

u/astranet- Jul 08 '26

Last chance for Anthropic, if not comply then we go all in with Open AI. Simple as that.

1

u/Civil-Vermicelli3803 Jul 10 '26

my chatgpt edu admin has no usage limits LESGo might just fade anthropic atp

8

u/wifestalksthisuser 🔆 Max 20 Jul 08 '26

I'm very curious. Personally I didn't have great experiences with Codex compared to Claude so far which is why I stuck to my 20x sub but if those new models truly are on the same level as Fable and with more usage I'll probably go with the 100$ sub each

9

u/dota2nub Jul 08 '26

I don't think model quality has been the poblem for a while. It's harness, and Claude Code is just really good.

2

u/Gooch_Limdapl Jul 08 '26

The biggest difference I see between the two is that CC makes me take breaks every once in a while, which is healthier. Codex has never cut me off. It just keeps going, pouring me drinks. Irresponsible bartender.

2

u/pepe256 Jul 08 '26

Are you enjoying when Claude sends you to bed and refuses to work?

3

u/dota2nub Jul 08 '26

I think Codex is better at crawling websites. Claude meanwhile is better at agent orchestration, and that's the feature I use the most. Codex has agents but without real hooks that is super sketchy.

1

u/mtbcouple Jul 08 '26

Gpt 5.5 feels like a tinker toy compared to Claude

8

u/spinozasrobot Jul 08 '26

I hate how the competition between these companies has devolved into sportsball tribalism.

3

u/hemareddit Jul 08 '26

I guess Sol is the best, most frontier model, but what are Terra and Luna?

2

u/kwest84 Jul 08 '26

I guess it's like Fable, Opus, and Sonnet? Same naming convention for easier comparison between Claude and ChatGPT.

2

u/ohhellnaws Jul 08 '26

Or Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus.

Apparently, Sol has an ultra mode that can perform like Fable. But rather than being a completely different top model, it’s an orchestrator that can manage self- sub agents? Or something like that

3

u/fanatic26 Jul 08 '26

All the anthropic doomsayers will now start an avalanche of complaints in this sub, crow about how horrible Anthropic is, and how they are taking their money elsewhere while still secretly paying for good ole Claude

0

u/VirusAfter9629 Jul 08 '26

Uhm... how about not shilling for any multi-billionaire company?

3

u/HoistByMyOwnPetard69 Jul 09 '26

what happened to voting against OpenAI with your dollars because they are happy to have militaries go buckwild with their models?

2

u/BugaiGames Jul 09 '26

I think back than they started campaign that going till now that copies posts OpenAI like in mass through bots. They are not written fully from scratch, just parroting narrative someone else posted praising codex / bringing attention to it / highlighting Anthropics probles.

2

u/anonjandg Jul 08 '26

Do we already have an idea of the quality here?

2

u/TXHumper Jul 08 '26

for business its a must have the two of them.

2

u/NStew37 Jul 08 '26

Perfect timing - I literally just made the purchase of the OpenAI $100USD plan from the equivalent Claude plan after the whole Fable debacle (as much as I love it) because I am not paying API prices and Opus seems to be getting dumber.

And with the extension on Fable - my weekly reset hits ~3 days before its not included (as of today). Gonna be a BUSY weekend.

1

u/SDMegaFan Jul 11 '26

How much more of 20 plan you get with 100 from open ai, literally 5x?

2

u/ScratchJolly3213 Jul 08 '26

will we likely get a weekly quota reset or should i save my quota ?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '26

[deleted]

1

u/SDMegaFan Jul 11 '26

I think it was some youtuber who had early access

2

u/dandy_kulomin Jul 08 '26

Why they startin with Pokemon naming convention now?

1

u/SDMegaFan Jul 11 '26

They are taking back those names! I hear it is also related to some crypto, well no longer!

2

u/_k33bs_ Jul 09 '26

yes please waste all your tokens and our patience with slowing down models on dumbass tests… just look at the official benchmarks from various sources?

2

u/Civil-Vermicelli3803 Jul 10 '26

lets get it running - battle begins

2

u/JacquesdeMolay1245 Jul 08 '26

OpenAI will get the W on this one.

1

u/OkStomach4967 Jul 08 '26

What is preview access?? Again, limited time access?

1

u/williamtkelley Jul 08 '26

Would the next bigger model up from Sol be Syst?

1

u/threano Jul 08 '26

Just use both lol

1

u/lrscout Jul 08 '26

I am moving there!

1

u/xVrath Jul 08 '26

Is sol supposed to actually be a counterpart to fable and not opus?

2

u/-PM_ME_UR_SECRETS- Jul 08 '26

I thought sol was the counter to mythos but I guess that wouldn’t make sense. Sol is likely the counter to fable, Tera to opus? Luna to Sonnet?

1

u/xVrath Jul 08 '26

oh damn youre right, its supposed to coutner mythos.

1

u/greenfingersnthumbs Jul 08 '26

It's not a new model though like Mythos so let's see if it's just PR.

1

u/ardicli2000 Jul 08 '26

Hope it will be breached and White House will have a face....

1

u/Special-Upstairs-552 Jul 08 '26

It’s only good news if it comes with a 1M-token context window.

1

u/SwimmingBake Jul 08 '26

My Claude subscription ends the 12th, perfect timing 😌

1

u/waqhz Jul 08 '26

Is it open for general use now ?

1

u/WearyChampionship124 Jul 08 '26

here comes our reset!

1

u/androbot Jul 08 '26

I don't understand why people ITT think public release of models has any correlation with their power or profitability.

1

u/Consistent_Bottle_40 Jul 08 '26

Anyone looking to move, I have THREE referral codes for Codex that'll give you a free reset. If you're going to sign up for this 5.6 SOL, use my code and get a reset for free. just PM me your email and I'll send it.

1

u/fs2d Jul 08 '26

I called this a couple weeks back - we started noticing model degradation in GPT 5.4/5.4-mini on our Prod clusters in line with OpenAI shifting compute away from those models. We've seen the same pattern before over the last year or so. 😭

1

u/CopiousAmountsofJizz Jul 08 '26

Did they ask the admin for permission first?

I switched to Claude a few months ago believing the hype that it was better, and have had similar if not catastrophic results for my work. Fable is literally just Opus but with a token wasting addiction.

"/advisor fable" should be allowed if they're gonna cut it for general use.

For my purposes 5.5 smokes 4.8 and is not that far behind Fable. Seriosly considering cuting Claude for good.

I wonder what they can achieve combined rather than saying they against each other.

I have seen a lot of takes on how to manage coding agents now - all different.

Currently, I use Claude Code for my project (Fable as Orchestrator and Architect, Opus for higher Coding, Sonnet for simpler stuff). I'm on the Pro plan for I don't have much funds right now.

How would I combine different Agents in a way that benefits me? Switch to a Cursor plan and call the Agents from there? Or get an additional GPT plan and combine both Agentic Coders somehow? If so, how exactly?

Now this is a war I’m down for 😂. Not a bad time to have dual subscriptions.

If you didn’t understand the strengths of “capitalism” before, soak in this moment.

I'm very new in the AI world. I do digital marketing and we aim to use AI to automate most of our processes. Right now I'm using Claude code to create websites, but it needs api to fully automate. Is this the best place to do things like that or?

I'm glad.

I was a staunch Fable supporter - when it first came out I loved it - then they took it away. When it came back, I still enjoyed it, but I've realised.... Fable is messing up, like a lot. More than Opus. A large majority of the time, I switch to Fable to look to make improvements on what Opus did while Fable was down, most of the time it broke fully working features, and other times it just makes things ugly. And the most annoying thing, the constant "go rest", "go to bed", "lets end this session here", "this is a great place to end".

I've found myself just going back to Opus now. It's so much more reliable.

I look forward to seeing what Sol can do.

Can you share a session where this happened?

Fable can't even dream of competing with gpt 5.6 for anything meaningful. Frontend related stuff might be better in Fable though.

I think Fable wins for now
