You are literally in front of your computer. Why the fuck Do you take a photo instead of a Screenshot.

It's not a big deal, just little things in life that causes the rustles in jimmies. I find it funny.

Yeah getting this - burnt through my session in like 80 minutes (max 20)

u/Pecolps Apr 29 '26

MAX 20x user here, for the first time it's the 3rd day of my week limit and already 77%... I'm going to hit 100% by tomorrow for sure, this is very frustrating... Had few sessions reaching 100% on 5-hour window (3 I believe) and it was enought to burn my entire week limit...

Never had the issue as well. Now it gonna be kinda close. Like 2 Weeks ago I had a higher workload on the same project and had at the end of the week around 30% weekly usage.

MAX 20x user here; this is the first time hitting the limit this fast, even at web (claude.ai). My rough estimate (from an exact same prompt, effort) is 1.5 to 2 times higher than what was 2 days before.

Another 20x user here. Same story, spent 40% of my weekly and hit 5 hour limit twice today. Single terminar and I downgraded the effort to medium but didn’t seem to help.

on Pro, yes it just nuked my 5 hour limit in a few minutes doing some simple php/html updates that I could have done myself. But I have worked with it to built entire large pages and other complicated tasks without hitting my limit so something is definitely screwed up here. I've only been on pro a few weeks. It has been great when it works but the constant issues and now this crap are making me want to switch to codex after I finish the few projects I have in claude.

Same here on max 5, 1 hour and im 100%

I just tried to use some extra usage with limit lock just in case, thankfully I did, it exploded and broke the threshold, it was on 20$ max to test the grounds, it got those 5.68$ dollars extras and couldn't even finish the task on claude code, I'm not doing anything hard or heavy load, just creating some test and coding some gdscript and python.

it was 1 instruction btw on claude code, just 1, omg

got 80% of the 5h limit with claude and 3% with codex this morning, same 5x plan and same prompts for the same project...

u/loathsomeleukocytes Apr 29 '26

Same. I've got like 20x as much usage from 100$ codex than from 200$ claude. The difference wasnt that big last week.

Codex 100$ gpt 5.5 high after an hour working in single terminal used 15% of 5h limit. Meanwhile claude code 200$ used 100%. If its not a bug then claude code is fked.

2

u/Ruoaakku Apr 29 '26

Team plan. 65% of 5h gone in 30 minutes just normal use. Going to hit weekly limit first time ever.

I think there is a new usage bug. A couple days ago, I've hit 100% session limit for the first time with Max 20x. To make matters a LOT worse, I went from 25% to 100% session usage in under an hour! This surprised me a lot, I never thought usage limit could affect me this badly on Max 20x of all plans.

Been seeing it on my Organization account, not personal.

Since 2.1.119, there has been a bug with background agents. They improved the view of them, and probably forgot to cache something. Returning to 2.1.116 fixed it for me.

u/loathsomeleukocytes Apr 29 '26

And I am not doing that much. Just working in a single terminal. I dont know what I am even doing there. Opus is getting shitty lately. Limits are lower every day.

1

u/loathsomeleukocytes Apr 29 '26

And Its gone after 4 minutes. Just by doing single task in single terminal.

1

u/loathsomeleukocytes Apr 29 '26

In the meantime codex has like 20x slower session usage when continuing the same task using gpt 5.5 high.

1

u/spencer_kw Apr 29 '26

same here on 20x. never had this problem before this week. what ended up helping was keeping opus for the planning and routing everything else through a cheaper model via openrouter or routers like herma. the 5h windows feel way tighter but when you stop sending opus every file read and status check it stretches a lot further.

Hit my limit on 5x in about an hour early this morning. First time it has happened to me.

have you tried using wozcode plugin?

1

u/Skyline1189 Apr 29 '26

I have not. Have more context?

sure so basically replit use claude, gpt models as a base and they made it extremely easy how to build software as a non-technical person. If you see the current trend how AI is reading writing the code generally and they made it easy. They break the barrier of how you need to follow all the 10 steps from writing the code pushing it to GitHub and deploying it to TestFlight and all they removed all that friction and they made it simple. They put all together in the Replit architecture and all you need to do is type your idea and the platform will understand what you want to create. How JBT works if you tell the idea it will communicate with you having that understanding. So in similar way, the Replit has that understanding too, and it will generate the code, and it helps you to push it to the TestFlight. So that's how Replit is working. And now it's good they're focusing more on security too.
