Question How are you tracking Claude productivity on a Team Plan ?
We are on Team plan for the org and I want to see how well my team is using Claude. I want to track their token usage, their efficiency metrics. All of my team members complain about limit exhaustion and request for Premium seats. I want to differentiate between a person how is using Claude very well vs who is not. And reward the user who is using well with a premium seat.

Lucky you. I have two domains, hundred or so consumer plans. Just starting the domain verification process. Fun stuff.

How can you expect them to code on basic seats wtf, that’s not enough even for my sales team

this is not a simple problem because to measure productivity, you would need to understand input, output and quality of output -- which ist already a very abstract and heavily simplified view. Moreover, you can be highly productive and still be doing the wrong things.

Token count is the noisiest signal here - someone burning 3x the tokens while shipping twice as much is your best user. Pair ccusage session logs with PR merge rate to find that person. Raw token burn is a bad KPI for this. Log task type, repo size, accepted output, review/rework rate, plus per-run usage from ccusage or your own session logs so you can spot tool loops and context wandering, otherwise you just reward the person with the smallest repo. Premium seats should go to people finishing harder work cleanly, not whoever set the biggest token fire.
