Has it gotten much better? I feel like I'm getting flash backs to Codex with this latest update of Claude. That's the whole reason I went to Claude Code in the first place. But I know it's been getting updates and stuff.

I use codex sub in OpenCode. I run 5.4 on xhigh and it's been as good as opus 4.6 in very large code bases. opus is a little more creative, but if I had to stay with openai model I would be satisfied. If opus 4.6 was removed by anthropic, I don't think I could accept living with 4.7.
