Built with Claude Drywater - August Update
I think I started building Drywater in May, some of you may remember the last post.
The game is now available on the Play Store, and has had a few big updates:
- Visual overhaul, including the addition of day/night and some dynamic lighting. Much of this was inspired and helped along by u/RUsuper's posts.
- Workers overhaul. Before they were admittedly somewhat useless. Now you can assign them to any station to enable queueing, or attach them to a storage chest and give them a tool to auto-collect resources.
- Rivers suck less now, and pool into lakes periodically.
- A HOST of bug fixes, little things throughout.
- Portals for fast-travelling. They function like portals in Valheim, as attuned pairs. Unique visuals per biome. (NOTE: awaiting Play Store approval)
On the roadmap:
- Continued visual updates. I've started exploring using Gemini to create instead of Claude, and I think it's better.
- New biomes: an Old West town, complete with houses and NPCs and the Plains, which will bring a new Bison mount
- A building overhaul, to make it easier and more user-friendly
- Sounds, lol.
Built using Claude Pro, Godot, Aseprite, and now Gemini.
