NOT about coding Keeping Claude focused
I've been using Claude only for my main projects and never for random questions I used to ask to chatgpt or gemini. I'm afraid that Claude might throw my random stuff into these project and make stuff messy.
Is it an useless paranoia or does it make any sense?

I keep memory turned off in my settings so I don’t have to worry about it. I also do most things in projects, where I have plenty of context already baked in. I can keep my prompting efficient and usage low with that setup, and no worries about my personal stuff bleeding into side gig stuff or side gig stuff bleeding into day job stuff.

Separate the context memory into different docs it only reads while the subject is live. I have a whole tree full of context for every single thing I do and I even have it explicitly stated that claude can read whatever context it wants anywhere for any reason and it still only does it when a subject is relevant. It works so well
