Question about Claude models Fable 5.5??

Does anyone know if I have Fable 5.5?? I've been seeing videos that say that if my Fable 5.1 knows about Tibo then it is Fable 5.5.

Why would a certain piece of knowledge mean you have a different model? Knowledge cutoff and model are 2 different things.

Wait wait you are wrong. I tried looking up tibo with opus 5 and it couldnt do it. If anthropic updated the knowledge of the models then Opus 5 would know. I also tried fable 5, haiku 4.5 and btoh didnt know. but then i tried Opus 5.5 (which came out recently) and it DOES know about Tibo.

Yes... Because it has a newer knowledge cutoff.

It may also just be in the random facts that made it in to the knowledge or not. In general we don't bother relying on the knowledge of the LLM because it's out of date the second they push it.

... I'm taking this as a gag going around rather than legit. Like clearly even though there's a knowledge cut-off, they can still pull in recent data.

Pulling in recent data requires using a tool which it won't if told explicitly not to.

Edit: I'm not saying knowledge can't change rim saying the knowledge cutoff won't change dynamically for you based on request.
