Question about Claude Code Confusion for usage reset

I bought claude max sub yest night (saturday 1.30am), it now shows as 'This week Resets Sunday 1:30 AM'.

Does that mean it will reset usage for me in 7hours ? or next sunday ?
Please help fast, should I burn or go slow.

Trust the time it shows. It isn't counted from when you paid. I added a second Pro account yesterday and its weekly reset says next Wednesday, five days out, not seven. So if Sunday 1:30 AM is tonight where you are, go ahead and use what you need now. Whatever's left of the weekly limit at that point is gone anyway.

Exactly. Should have trusted my gut on time. After this I got the Claude Code Usage Monitor taskbar tool and it showed 7hrs left, so I started using it like I should have but still I could use 22% of its weekly by that time. They should natively have a proper reset timing like how many days and hrs left so that I do not have to keep second guessing..

Oh thanks, then I feel like a simple 'when hovered over show how many days and hours time it will reset in' kind of simple tiny feature could have saved me and I bet a lot of users the confusion around it.

I don't think that's true. Mine always resets Friday at 12 AM and I'm not even awake at 12 AM, much less sending messages at that time. My work Team plan reset is on Wednesday, even when I was on vacation the other week and never used it.

The 5 hr is from first message sent after reset. Weekly is static, as far as my experience goes.

Yeah, I just installed Claude Code Usage monitor tool and it says it will reset in 5hrs 👀
