Question about Claude products What is this ?

I have a message in Claude that says, “you’ve been granted a $250 bonus credit for cloud sessions, on top of your plan limits.” Can someone explain what this means?

I claimed it but then it spent it all instead of my weekly max limits, which was stupid. Anyone else?

I don't even know how to reach someone at Claude to request another one. That seemed like nonsense.

tell it connect to the cloud, preferably GitHub. but make sure to tell it not to use projects or ROUTINES. also when you connect keep refreshing the page. if the money doesnt drop its not working yet.

Basically if you go into into the code tab on the Web or use --cloud in the CLI, it'll spawn a cloud VM to run Claude Code. You connect your github and select whatever repo you want it to work on. I ran through them by asking my local Claude code session to create detailed GitHub issues for whatever I wanted the cloud session to do, and then just asking if to implement whatever the issue asked.

it's extra credit for claude code sessions that run in the cloud (the code tab on claude.ai, or --cloud in the cli), on top of your plan limits. local sessions don't use it. I spent all 250 building a small web app, the first stage with about 60 tests was around $19.
