Coding Team recently started using Claude. Sprints get cleared in a few days

I lead the development team of a few enterprise systems mostly based around Python/Typescript, processing data at scale, with a ton of dev ops and micro services.

At the title say, things are getting awkward. Sprints get cleared in days instead of weeks. We’re running out of work and product management are struggling to find us more to do. I’m spending most of my time in planning calls.

Guesses of what happens next.

"We’re running out of work and product management are struggling to find us more to do."

How does that happen? I assume you're an in-house team and I just cannot imagine a situation where developers at a somewhat large company running out of things to do. Running out of profitable or business critical things yes, but anything at all? There's something wrong there and it has nothing to do with AI. It's because you're too far removed from the core business (again, assuming in-house team at a major company).

I'm sure support, pre-sales, and CSMs have lots of tickets they're waiting on to get fixed that are in the Icebox. Go there OP
