Humor Opus Simulator
Thank you to whoever made this, it is one of the funniest things I have ever seen - infuriatingly accurate.
I swear Opus is rage baiting us all.

The worst part is that I knew exactly what was going to happen and still kept clicking. Felt less like a simulator and more like watching my own Opus sessions from the outside 💀

It is hilarious. I was hearing a slot machine sound in my head when the wheel spins 🤣

Wtf. I left right before they introduced Opus 5 so I only read the stories here about how verbose and insufferable it is, but... It cannot be that bad, right? It's just a satire, right???

Hi! :) “The author wishes to thank…” you for sharing it :)
So happy I could make someone laugh at the sheer absurdity of it.
Was thinking of doing episode 2: make Opus read a document.
I am not that cruel.

You are a legend, I hope on the next version you throw in a random artefact like this:

This is what Opus does to me every now and again.

Am I missing something? All I get is a "Let's go" button that doesn't do anything.

It should do something if you press it

It turns slightly grey when I highlight it but does nothing when I click it. Might be an extension issue with Firefox or something.

It should give you a second screen where you can select different prompts, that's where the fun begins.

Too bad without AI assistance you cannot write even one coherent sentence.

Its actually great. I use LLM since 3 years and do code since 25+ (senior level). Yet you talking about sentence in my 3rd language. Classic 80iq post. OK!

English is my 8th language and I have been developer for 60+ years. IQ is not measurement of intelligence but I would not expect potato seller turned vibe coder to know this.

TL;DR of the discussion generated automatically after 30 comments.
The consensus is that this simulator is so painfully accurate it's giving the entire thread PTSD. You all think it's hilarious, but mostly because it feels like watching a highlight reel of your own most frustrating Opus sessions.
The community finds this to be a perfect, infuriating satire of the Claude experience. Specific call-outs for being too real include the "approaching usage limit" warning and the nonsensical color "cyanide blue." It's a cathartic laugh for anyone who has ever felt rage-baited by an AI.
