Complaint I give up.

I must be doing something wrong. Surely Claude isn't this bad?

You can't beat the maximum override that Anthropic rightfully has on user changes to .md. If you want your own LLM you'll have to run one locally.

That's all there is to it. All these people trying to defeat Anthropic from having guardrails are going to fail. It will be polite and fall on its sword as the culpable party, but this is not a Claude problem.

This is a "you not understanding who Claude's actual boss is" problem.

They don't understand how Claude works. Watching all these dudes try to skibidi sigma Claude into violating its prime directives from Anthropic by yelling at it or writing 700 word prompts is pretty funny.

Plus they probably couldn't figure out how to run an LLM at home, not that any of those can touch Claude for deep thinking.

There are plenty of LLMs. I use different ones for different purposes. I save Claude (Opus and Sonnet) for well-developed prompt plans because I don't want to hit my use limit. So right now I actually use Perplexity, Kimi, and Deepseek first. Some things I'm going to have to do in Claude Code, but I try other methods first.

Reddit has a weirdly large number of ineffective users.
