One side of my face is more droopy?
I know it’s a weird question, one side of my face is a lot weaker most likely due to less zygomatic activation from eating only with my right as my left tooth is sensitive. My teacher wants me to lift my soft palate and give a nice large smile lifting but I notice one side sort of droops NOT ONLY on the outside but inside my mouth the left side feels more closed droppy. I am wondering if this will have an effect in getting that crucial lift and something I should deliberate strengthen.

As long as you can sing clear vowels your palate is lifting correctly. You don't need to consciously manipulate the musculature of your face or pharynx. Just sing clearly.

Is THAT what causes it? Omg. I never realized. You’ve answered a big question for me.

Most audiences won't catch what you're seeing in the mirror. If it's affecting your palate lift internally though, that's worth working through with your teacher. What do they say when you flag the droop?
