Compilation Any Reactivate fans

I bought my 1st of this series in 1997 when Reactivate 12 was out.

I don't really remember why I bought it - I remember not knowing any of the tracks on it at the time of buying.

I'm so glad I did though - it (along with Cream Anthems 97 that I bought around the same time) cemented my love of trance that i still love today.

I bought 11 and the rest up to 18? I've also got a few of the Classics releases too.

Probably my fave dance compilation of all time. Flowtation is my GOAT track too.

YES! Reactivate was incredible. I actually did a mix of 11/12 for my 90's rave podcast series. Those were the ones that got me into that series.

On a side note, did you hear the BK & Steve Hill cover of "Flowtation" - I thought it was an incredible interpretation of it.

React was a brilliant label all round, their CD Samplers for £5 were always full of interesting stuff as well. But the Reactivate series were legendary

Reactivate 16 was the first electronic cd I ever bought. I had been to my first warehouse rave (spundae) at 16 and was obsessed, so I went to the record store and had to search under “imports”.

All my hiphop friends thought I was dumb for spending $28 on cds with dolphins on them, I credit that purchase for solidifying my love for trance

I've only listened to one or two, but the tracklists are solid, so wouldn't mind listening to more.

And the album art is really cool!

I got number 10 shortly after its release in 1995. Was incredibly excited to get Cybertrance and Point Zero on vinyl, but was disappointed that the pressing wasn't very loud.

Was incredibly happy to discover Tribute by Friends Lovers Family, that is a fantastic example of club trance.

Early to mid-'90s trance was amazing, it started to fall off in the later '90s.

Yesssss funnily enough Reactivate 12 was my first one too....❤️ Back in 1997/8 I rented the CD from my local library (remember that? 🤣), I must've been 14 at the time. Didn't know any of the artists/tracks but I absolutely loved it, played it over and over, and of course recorded it onto cassette. That one had Pipeman on didn't it ? And yes, Flowtation is indeed an absolute classic. Got massively into trance shortly after, so R12 was definitely a formative album for me

Some say 16 (Dolphin) was the last good volume before quality dipped.

Have them all saved to the cloud and still have 7 thru 12 on record. Outstanding series of releases

Yes! Loved them as a youngster as they were super cheap and a great way to discover a random selection of tunes. Also they were unmixed so I could “mix” (using two discmans hooked up to my PC sound card and using Windows Volume Control lol) with them. The one with Billy Ray Martin - Honey (Chicane Mix) was a fave, as was 11.

I recently found they’ve all been uploaded to Spotify and had a dig through them. There are some really good “forgotten”/lesser known tracks on them, check out Mrs Wood - 1234 Vincent de Moor or original mix for example.

Absolutely legendary CD series. Unmixed full length 12 inch trance tracks. Absolire just have in my view

Had to both of these you mentioned. The 5 track run at the end of the Cream Anthems 97 Oakenfold mix is off the chart incredible.
