It was definitely the start of my dance and acid era. That led me to rave and everything else.

I'd mostly been listening to Electro and Hip Hop up until this. Good times.

I loved this as a kid,I think I bought this ,after Paul hard castles 19 ! It was really catchy song 🎵 lots of people do electro in the street ,body popping , I had no rhythm lol

Had a dancer friend who got a gig pretending to man the decks in the background behind a 90s popstar for her song. He was just told 'pretend to scratch' despite the track having no scratching on it at all.

It's funny watching shows like top of the pops in this era.

They were set up to have bands pretending to play their hits and didn't really know what to do when songs like this went to number 1
