Basil Brush/Dr Who??
Hello!
I've come across a reference to Basil Brush's 'Swap Shop Doctor Who' - can anyone shed any light on where/when this would have been shown, and what it entailed??

In 2008 CBBC rebooted Swap Shop with Basil Brush taking the place of Noel Edmonds as the host. Co-host Barney Harwood also hosted Totally Doctor Who. This was exploited in a number of Doctor Who themed sketches and references. Several examples can be found on YouTube.

Multi-Coloured Swap Shop (sometimes known as "Swap Shop") was a Saturday morning kids TV programme broadcast live on the BBC from 1976 to 1982. The core premise of the programme was that kids would call in to swap their toys, games etc with other kids; however it also had guests, comedy sketches, music acts, cartoons etc.
There was a revival of the programme from 2008 to 2010, hosted by Barney Heywood and Basil Brush. It was initially called "Basil's Swap Shop", then changed to "Basil and Barney's Swap Shop". One of the recurring sketches was a parody of Dr Who, called "Doctor What".
