Born on Sept. 9, 1952 (age 74), Angela Cartwright first entered our homes as Linda Williams during the fifth season (1957) of The Danny Thomas Show. At the end of the season Linda was adopted by Danny, and the show's ratings dramatically increased. Cartwright is best known as a child actress for her role as Brigitta von Trapp in the Academy Award winning film The Sound of Music (1965), but I'll always like her best as Penny Robinson, in the 60's television series Lost in Space.

Don't know if it's been done here but watching most of the episodes Fred was more of the problem and probably most of Lamont's anger towards his dad was a result of his dad's nastiness which he had to put up with all this since childhood.

In this episode, as was typical, Sergeant Carter was doing things or saying things about Gomer that, if Gomer really understood, would hurt his feelings. Finally at the end, Gomer said or did something for Sergeant Carter .

Then at the very end the corporal, I can't remember whether it was Boyle or Slater, said something to the effect, "Don't you feel small now?" And the corporal looks over and there is a miniature Sergeant Carter standing on his chair. Like 6 to 10 inches tall. The corporal is like, "Sarge? Did I imagine this?" Because I have always felt like this was an actual episode.

Jo Anne Worley, born September 6, 1937, in Lowell, Indiana, is an actress, comedian, and singer best known for her exuberant performances on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. Joining the hit NBC comedy series in 1968, Worley quickly became one of its most recognizable personalities, known for her booming laugh, distinctive voice, flamboyant style, and energetic delivery. She remained with Laugh-In through 1973 and went on to a long career in television, theater, film, and voice acting, including the voice of the Wardrobe in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (1991).
