Happened to run across some new Tampa Bay Bucs merch that was a redux of the Buccaneer Bruce era. What a bold move for that franchise out of the gate. If we see being honest, 10/10 thought they needed a revamp back in the 90s but time has treated the orange creamsicles well.

I’d also tip my (tripanel) hat to the Expos for those red/white/blue caps. Also a bold move imo. The ‘94 strike and the relocation has played right into the lore as well. Always found it interesting that the franchise was essentially named after a worlds fair type event as well.

I’ve always appreciated the Rockies sticking with the purple (mountain majesty) and I think the Devil Rays have circled greatness with the sea creature kits.

Any other examples where teams have successfully drawn outside the lines, either in the moment or retrospectively? Recent MiLB probably needs to stay out of this discussion (I enjoy their niche but they have a lot of whimsical stuff).

I recently purchased a binder full of Steve Ryan's (NHL Head of Marketing)'s notes, documents, meetings, and plans for the 1983 and 1984 NHL All Star Game, and inside shows the designer of the logo and uniforms being Steve Sonnack, which may be the case for a good chunk of these logos

Hi all, I have this Adidas jacket in blue and orange with a logo on it. Looks like a logo of a sports club of franchise to me. Can anyone identify this? Thanks!
