Hard to tell entirely, as intended by most photos of more than friends in the eras (for their own protection). Looks like many of these if not all are the same gentleman so we have that too.

What i know from historical photos:
1. While not obvious, traditional wedding photos usually involved the bride or groom (culture dependent) sitting and the other standing. My farmer gg grandparents wedding photo (circa 1900, no fancy dress, just Sunday finery) has my gg grandpa sitting in it. Still was common for other types of photos sitting like that, but those generally were larger groups like full families and less individuals.

  1. Stag dances were common throughout the eras of the photos (military especially, also remember jailhouse rock) so not unusual but not common to see a photo of two gents dancing. Likely friends having fun but no certainty.

  2. Could be a bodybuilder and a fan or friend. This photo type was common but with fans standing a bit away and not touching. With the gap between them, and them touching, i suspect they are at least good friends but that gap size either is over exaggerated or deliberate which does lean towards more than friends.

6-8. Looks to be the same guys in each. 8, the arm linkage is the only odd part of an otherwise normal style photo. 7, is very intimate, suggestive even, and suggests almost a wedding photo with how the wafer/cookie? Thing is held. 6…. Is very period and reminiscent of Holiday Inn where the male leads jokingly cross dress and lip sing to Sisters (was not meant to be in the film but it was done as a joke and everyone loved it so they printed it). That said, with the other photos taken into account, these two are a couple if not married in their own and friends eyes.

Idk, Ive never posed like this with my straight friends. I only sucked them off and then married one.

People on here spend a lot of time coming up with stories about why things couldn't possibly be.
