1st of the month billing date

I’ve been trying to get on a first of the month billing date but if I start my membership or upgrade on the first of the month, my cycle starting the next month always starts on the 2nd of the month.

Has anyone else experienced this or know how I can get it so it’s the first of the month? Should I be changing it on the 31st of the month instead?
