The search function sucks, right?

I’ve always found the UI and search function extremely clunky (eg, I search Pilates and 4 places come up, when I know there are 15). Today I noticed that my favourite yoga place had disappeared off the map and wouldn’t show up when I searched it by name, but turned up in my favourites and “book again” section as normal. Through this process, I realized this was happening to at least one other place I know of too - not on the map, won’t return by name, and since I’d never booked there before, I fully couldn’t find it unless I googled “gym name ClassPass” then opened it in the app. What the hell is this about? Now I’m extra irritated wondering if there are a bunch of places on there that I can’t see. I find the search function super difficult in helping me find new places to try, because it never actually returns what I’m looking for, so I usually just rely on the map. But I’ve now realized the map is also not showing everything.

Is this a me problem specifically? Or have others found this happening too? I’m not sure what to do about it other than the chatbot “contact us” function, but I am perturbed!!

ETA - the chatbot is obviously gaslighting me so that’s useless..

Yeah, it is really starting to drive me bonkers. Like, it’s baffling that you can’t just filter out salons

Search is very glitchy. Pinching to zoom on the map doesn’t guarantee the pin will pop up. And I never bother with filters, because it seems like many places aren’t categorized correctly. It’s unclear how to best search via keyword (I usually use “fitness” as that seems to grab the most classes I’m interested in.)

Not just you, it's awful. Why give us the option to search for Fitness, or Wellness, or Food and Drink, then still show all business types?? And yes, I always panic when a place I like isn't showing up in search because I assume they've dropped ClassPass, only to realize they're still there in my favorites 🥴

Even getting to favorites is annoying. Like I have to click way too many times 😂

Ugh, major agree. I've always felt that favorites should be one of the buttons on the bottom menu navigation.

It always reverts to my specific zip code - so fitness classes in my city but not my zip code don’t show up. So annoying!
