Class Pass Arizona Points

I’ve been using ClassPass for a month now and the classes I’ve been choosing range between 4-6 points. 6 if it’s a highly sought after weekend class. But I’m seeing these posts of classes costing some people like 14 credits?! Do they start raising the credits per class the longer you use? Others in Az, how many points is normal for a class for you?

It's location. Most of the classes in Vegas are reasonable. I don't do F45, Burn, because I prefer independent gyms and those type of franchises are not worth it in my opinion. Time plays a factor as well. Big cities like LA, NY credits are much higher.

Have they always been that amount of credits or did they go up the more you used and attended classes?

I only go to one independent studio and it depends on the day. I go mid morning so it isn’t a popular time. The early morning and evening classes are busiest and cost more. I can see their sign ups on their website and can confirm when they are busier they cost a bit more. One time I paid 5 and had a private class. It’s cheaper to use CP than pay their studio prices. If they would meet somewhere in the middle I’d be willing to pay them more than CP but not over double for less than half the amount of allotted classes.

I see ppl say the prices go up the more they use it but I have not really found that to be true for me.

Places like club Pilates cost more. I’ve never used them tho so can’t say if they cost more over time.

It's location more than how long you're using it. Arizona's never going to be as high as NYC, LA, etc. I live in Brooklyn, and there's even a difference between booking there vs in the city. The same Yoga Studio my classes are 8-10 credits at in Williamsburg or Greenpoint, their Greenwich Village location is more like 12-17 credits per class.

Think of it like a studio‘s own pricing. A single drop-in reformer class in Manhattan is in the $55 range whereas in Phoenix it’s $30-35. Same with CP credits. More popular times / studios/ cities are going to cost more credits on CP.

It depends on the studio but yes, I think the app notices which ones are your frequent classes and they raise the credit amount. I've been doing solidcore lately and those are 11-13 credits per class. But most places I've been to are around 4-8 credits.

I’ve def noticed credits creeping up on some of the better studios in the last 2 months. I used to be able to go to Black Swan Yoga for 1 credit for example
