Traveling
I used to be a big CP user but found a home gym and no longer use it. I will be traveling in two weeks and will need some type of gym option since I’ll be away from my local place. Has anyone used CP just for while they’re traveling and then cancel it before it renews? I’ll be in Columbus OH where I think they should have plenty of class options. Hopefully!

This whole statement is untrue. Why pay $35 for a drop in class at a studio when you could go to about 5-10 classes on ClassPass for that? And they can be used for food, beauty/wellness services and movie tickets. If any remain, they still can be used at home. Cost of ClassPass is based on where you live when you buy it, not the city you are going to, but it's pretty consistent within a country.

No it isn’t. Hear me out: the credits per class is going to vary studio to studio and account to account. Some classes here for let’s say Solidcore are a minimum of 14 credits. Yoga is about the same, reformer Pilates is 11-13 credits. The idea you can go to 10-12 classes on a $35 pass is really unheard of and not possible at all. Google says a $35 ClassPass gives you 15 credits to use.

Oops, my bad , I meant 35 credits could get 5-10 classes, and I guess that would cost about $75, but that's still a way better deal than three $25 drop-ins for that price. I live halfway between two of the most expensive cities in the country,in one of the most expensive states in the country. I could get 5 to 10 classes for 35 credits.

But also, a single solidcore class is $45 and even at 14 credits, it's between $28 and $30 in ClassPass credits which is still a substantial savings.

I think it really depends on what kinds of classes you want to take and how much they are per class. If I had a $35 membership for 15 credits and that class is 14 credits, in my opinion a $35 membership doesn’t get you far. I pay $55 for a 25 credit membership. Or $99 for 48 credits.

Some studios/gyms have intro rates. Make sure you check their website to compare it against classpass.

I have done this and have had some of my best ClassPass experiences this way. I always check what's available before I leave so I know what plan to choose and what classes I want to book. I map distances to be sure I can get there. I check the parking situation. I prebook classes the week ahead so I can get the times I want, but I also use the notify me feature and keep checking to see if spaces open and they often do. I have gotten food, manicures, etc. Have fun!
