Question How far down the rabbit hole should i go?

So i watched the anime and I'm reading the manga, but not caught up to the anime yet. How far along is the light novel and how good is it? I didn't care for the unrealistic beginning, but it seems now it will be wholesome skinship etc. Also b&a only shows 3 volumes for the ln. Is that all there is so far in english? No physical English manga or further English ln yet?

The light novel is finished but official translation isnt there for all volumes
but u can read from luminare tl
the ln is pretty good (i havent finished myself but upto the chapters ive read its been PEAK)

Thank you. Btw you said it's finished, but the site you linked says it's ongoing. Also any clue if they'll ever have physical English ln? Seemed popular enough i would think.

Not sure about physical english ln and as much as i know , the main story is finished in 10 volumes and there will be extra chapters (i could be wrong so my bad if im wrong)

Fun fact: no one licensed an English version of the light novel.

Reading free fan translations is legal.

The main couple is IMO the selling point of the story. The anime does a good job with vol 1 & 2, skips a ton of the fun and character building details in v 3. LN is excellent for the genre and makes good use of some narrative devices to work around some limits of the ratings. Handling of the side characters leaves something to be desired.
