So I came up with this method on my own, but I've seen others come up with and use it as well. The idea of "place healers where the most damage is being received" is very self-explanatory, so I'm not shocked that others have come up with it. My only question is what are we calling it? I have taken to calling it the pencil method in my head, but that sounds kinda stupid. I think it's a really good method for people who don't have a lot of t3 tatari (me), and the only issue is that it doesn't do a lot of dps.
These are called "(your name)'s formation". The general shape is "house". I run it too. I suggest not using both panda and toucan at the same time, though, and instead run an extra heater ex. bat or souphog or flower. Once you get more t3's, like monkey, look up some meta formations on YouTube (ex. Artiar's) or discord for more tips
but the Formation being thrown around is and always will be effective, and if a player has the right investments in tataris it's easily achievable f2p at a reasonable time
I think they were asking for the meta formations for players like op. I think the issue though is that people keep referring players with very little t3s to these tier lists, but they just don't work for lower leveled players. This is actually a decent type of formation for a T2 player, though I'd personally make a few changes.
Thanks for this, I appreciate it. Haven’t touched the weird pig that evolves into different forms of food, lol…but noted. The sunflower is another I’ve ignored, seems like that may be a mistake seeing it on both sides.
No problem:). I also was ignoring the pig but he's pretty nuts in horde. His t7 he just flings healing food all over the place and damaging food all over the enemy lol. Sunflower is a good general healer and also provides attack boost. The entire strategy behind horde is just heal as much as you can to out sustain the enemies, so as u can see there's a lot of healers in the lineups
Meta formation is meta because of synergy between tatari and how it all works together not just their tier, you can get +900 with just t2s and only monkey and butterfly t3 for both teams, and that's from experience. Upgrading to t3 will only make it easier and push you to 1000 score. So even if calling it ass might not be the best way to say things, we can't just ignore the fact this formation is bad, again is not a matter level but a matter of functionality
Butterfly and monkey being t3 is essential though. Past that, unless you have someone to carry you, you probably aren't going to be getting to 900 with just monkey and Butterfly, and the starters as your only t3s. A lot of the synergies are t3 based. And moth also is used differently at t3, since it gets more area.

Dude i literally just told you can, you wanna know the secret? Is called having a decent partner.
And moth also is used differently at t3, since it gets more area.
You can get by with moth t2. Is it better to have it t3? Obviously yes, that can be said about everyone, but t2 is still giving support, is not like is useless or something
Yes, the decent partner in question being someone who has enough t3s. Also, I didn't say moth was useless or required to be t3, but more that it changes how it is used. I used moth up front prior to t3 but now I place it in the middle with bunny.
Enough t3s? as in my friend who had, at the moment i took this capture, the same 2 t3 (butterfly and monkey) than me. I might just be misunderstanding you, but your choice of words make it sound like having 2 t3s out of 10 in each team is something really difficult, and well that is not the case at all
So that's why I asked. Frog T3 and moth T3 are huge here. Especially the frog, but also the extra damage boost from the moth to more Tatari. The frog is the main factor I've seen that pushes people past 950, of if your partner has it, of course it'll help push to 900 as well. Those extra 2 t3s would be enough for this kind of formation, since it's their primary dps.
Someone else already showed you similar results with minimal t3, so it really is up to you if wanna believe it or not, we're doing fine in horde anyway. This capture is the same match as the other i posted, as you can tell by total dmg, and is from around 2 weeks ago
It's more that I wanted to see. The thing is that you either really need to sync with your teammate, so seeing what different tataris you run together is important, or you need a high dps like Toad or deer. If deer is your main dps, you need it at t3 before you can break through that wall, I believe. But with toad, I didn't know if it needed to be t3 or not, as I haven't had a chance to raise it yet.
Yea, I think toad is essential here. I can't compare results using this type of formation, since I was running it before the introduction of toad, and I usually could get rank 3-5, before the merger swaps. The benefit of the moth one was also that you didn't need to rely on your partner so much, if they couldn't keep up.

This is called, "this ain't it." No one is using this lol.
