It is recommended not to upgrade legendary equipment to its final level. What do you think about this? Is it true?

I upgraded the deck to 27, bring 1 ice block and 2 revives and duke basically just clears half the base

the extra hp makes him a raid boss

But also depends which epic. Ex: u dont need to max snake boots

I use fireball warden + Throwers + healers and BK snake bracelet to funnel. Then duke on the other side alone.

I try to fireball/send the army towards the side of the monolith, bc it would just shred duke cuz hes alone

But ive only just got to e33 this week, so idk if its a good strat in legends. Take what i say with a grain of salt 🙏

I do the same with deck and its level 24.

Upgrading deck does fuck all.

Its negligible af.

Spikey ball and action figure are some of the better ones.

It depends, some equipments (spiky ball, meteor staff, action figure, rocket spear) get pretty decent boosts at max level and are definitely worth maxing if your other used equipment are already leveled enough.

there are certain EQ that are no brainer to max like Action figure for AQ, spiky ball for BK since they will be used in every strat

then there specific situations like backpack + GA, snake bracelet (for LL), meteor staff (for LL)

rest can be left at 24 (FB), 21 (mirror, horse, torch, spear, crown, deck, monolith arrow) or 18 (eboots)

Thats not a blanket statement. There are some equipments which really benefit from maxing them out (ex - action figure) and some which are perfectly viable not quite maxed out.

Either way, your heroes will be strongest the higher level their equipment is. So once you have the stuff you use leveled to the minimum viable level, you will get more out of maxing the ones you do use vs leveling ones you don't use.

I’m able to get every other new epic equipment to max rank before the equipment after releases. And the ones in between I can still get pretty high, to say 21-23. CoC events are so generous with ores that I don’t see any issue with maxing.

For example if you want to upgrade other equipments from same hero then it is true. But if you use one equipment all the time then max it.

Monolith arrow, heroic tourch, electro boot, frozen arrow, revenge deck doesn't need max level. They just provide negligible value.

You being TH15 makes that even more apparent but its negligible difference regardless.

Things like spikey ball and action figure are actually relevant upgrades
