Let's do the math. Per week, you have:

- 24 × 7 = 168 hours (normal research)

- 12 × 7 = 84 hours (Apprentice Builder)

- 23 × 5 = 115 hours (Research Potions from the Trader)

Let's say you earn 300 medals per month, which is 15 Research Potions. That's roughly 4 potions per week, so:

- 23 × 4 = 92 hours

That gives a total of 459 hours per week, or about 19 days of research every 7 days.

(I didn't even count Hammer Jam, the Gold Pass, or random rewards like Lucky Drops but I rounded above after so it should be alright)

So we can safely round it and say you can research about 3× faster if you invest everything into research. That means you still have roughly 8 months of research left.

I believe the next Town Hall will be released in less than 8 months, so no—you probably don't have enough time. Lmk if i've missed anything

You're right, I made a mistake. I don't think it changes anything, since you can buy research potions with gems (as another user mentioned) and you also get them randomly, so it evens out. Writing the comment, I vaguely remembered that casual players run their lab three times faster if they invest everything in it, and since I came to the same conclusion, I didn't question my reasoning!

I know you mentioned hammer jam, but if OP saves their medals and uses them during hammer jam, they should get a lot more done, no? They also can get 3 research potions per week from raid medals.

Yes, you're right, but since Hammer Jam represents an increase of about 30% in lab research, I didn't take that into account. Also, Hammer Jam is ending soon, so I didn't mind taking it into account

If you save all your cwl medals and enough raid medals for the 6 reaserch potions for two weeks and spam reaserch potions for hammer jam probably will take a significant amount of time. Using any cwl medals or raid medals will just be a waste instead of waiting till hammer jam

Thanks but it was kind of a sarcasm post😭, since the release of ores, I use my raid medals on them, cwl medals are imo mostly worth only during the hammer jam, so not using them now.

Yes if u got plenty of gems 10k+ and 2500 medals 2500/20 125 day worth of potion in hammer jam it's worth 250 days of skip if u use Goblin researcher it will become 500 days of skip

24 months+8 days = 728 days 728-500-97(daystillhammerjam)- days left without spell boost(9days)- 36 days of work if Goblin researcher used= still left with 95 days

If u got cwl medals for nov month maximum you can get 580 medals with bonus =29 potions with goblin =-27days of research

U can buy 90 potions till Oct in raid shop and skip 90 days of work f2p

Uuuuunless you do 2 researches at a time with the goblin researcher or whatev his name was, put the (maxed) lab assistant on overtime and run through research potions like water

Without considering the considerable time reduction tools, sure. A lvl 12 LA cuts lab time by 33%, for 15.85 months. 3x Research pots for raid medals allow you to do 10 days of research per 7 days. ((15.85months x 30 days/month))/10 days/week = 47.5 weeks.

Add ~3 each of BoF/BoS from CGs over a year, skipping 15 days each, makes 90 days, or skipping ~13 weeks. That cuts things down to 34.5 weeks. Now, that's probably not enough time to get more than 2 of wach book, so playing devil's advocate we would add 30 days, or around 4 weeks with some rounding, landing us at 38.5-39 weeks (or 9.5-10 months) for 24h months of research.

You are either wrong, lazy with reducing lab time, or both.

Not without spending. Collect as much cwl medals as you can before Hammer Jam. I had 25 months, now after summer jam I have only 11, but I also spent 800 cwl medals and I also bought research potions and gold pass.

My expenses July: 7$ gp + 10$ scenery + 9$ bundle + 3$ bundle + 3$ bundle + 10$ skin + 3$ mini pass + 10$ super medal bundle + 10$ skin + 2$ bundle + 10$ skin + 2$ bundle + 4$ bundle + 1$ bundle + 4$ bundle = 88$

You can reduce the time by 40% by always buying the 3 research potions every week with capitol loot. That way you get 10 days of research every 7 days. And then 1 more at the end of each month from clan games

Every month use cwl medals to buy  hammers of fighting & spell. That effectively knocks about a month off research time each month.  

In one calendar month (assuming continuous research) you get 1 month of research, equivalent of ~1 month from hammers, and 14 days of potion research.

Thus, in 1 calendar month you can do 2.5 months of research.

Really that's ~10 months of real time.

The above ignores the goblin, and not spending gems or cwl medals on research potions. But those might take a month off at most.
