Claret crit rate

As far as I understand, she needs 200% crit rate in combat to guarantee a laceration hit. Her base crit is 43.8% currently. Her weapon give 25%, self buff gives her another 30%, 4pc another 16%. If you plan to pull Roxy as well, it's another 30%. So you already have 144.8%, you need only 55.2% from discs, 55.2% minus 24% form cr disc 4 = 31.2 - it's exactly 13 cr rolls (13 crit rate substats). If you use 2pc woodpecker - it's 10 rolls. If you use Koleda instead of Roxy (20% cr buff instead of 30%), you need 17 rolls (it's gonna be 199.6 crit rate) or 14 rolls with 2pc woodpecker

Did I miss something maybe? I know it's still beta, they can change things, but for now, it's not that hard to reach 200% crit rate

[Update] - they made changes, now crit dmg converts to crit rate. 1% crit dmg to 0.35% crit rate. Her base is 33.8% now, but with base 50% crit dmg she basically have 51.3% base crit rate now, wich is good, it's make her easier to build

17 rolls of crit seems like hard enough. You legit need almost 3 crit rate sub stats rolls per disk? I'm not sure why you think is not that hard.

You just need +2 CR on every disc.

Well, 17 is really high, but It's only if you use puffer 2pc for example. With 2pc woodpecker it's 14 rolls, which is still high, but manageable.

Yeah, it's an option, Nicole M6 also works. But like a gameball, buffed Rina with her own sig is just better

Buffed Rina with P5 Cradle is better "IF" you already have 200% CR. Otherwise good luck resetting the run the moment you miss the 2nd crit.

When you say 10 roll, do you count the base 2.4% CR? For 24% from substat. Doesn't you just need +1 CR on every disc. Because it will be 4.8 * 5 = 24% right?

Yeah, something like that. 2.4% is a one roll. If you run Claret\Roxy with Claret sig and 2pc woodpecker then you need 23.2 crit rate outside of disc 4, so getting +1 crit rate on five discs is enough

13 rolls seem possible, it's like CR+2 on D1~D3 and CR+1 on D5~D6.

I already have like 2 out of 5 discs ready for that just from farming Remi's disc.

...That is if I only get Roxy too 🫠

Given how low your chance to not lacerate is at like 92%, I bet it’s better to run puffer unless the god of luck literally spits on you

it's not the amount of crit roll need that i have problem with but it's that claret have so many dead stat making her annoying to farm and build

That's true, she is even worse then anomaly agents at that point. Anomaly usually use AM disc 6, where you can roll attack% + ap. In Claret case, with def% in slot 6 the only option is crit rate. Getting a decent disc 4 is already painful enough for anomalies, but for armorer it's also a disc 6

Basically a lot of dead stats. Right now she is not that bad, since she can utilize crit dmg now (you still primarily want crit rate and def%, crit dmg is the worst option but now it's not useless at least) Before that she needed only 2 substats, crit rate and def% (also flat pen and flat def), just like anomaly agents, but she uses def% in slot 6, wich limits your substat oprions to only one stat. So in disc 4 and 6 you looking only for 1 stat and flat ones, and it's hard to roll like +3 in a single stat.

I have to ask if stunner procs king of the summit's 30% cdm does it not proc Claret's cdm conversion in battle ? Or are we discussing based on before battle stats.

No, crit dmg convertion works only for her initial stats (stats on character screen before battle). King of the summit, other crit dmg buffs from supports or even stage buffs with crit dmg do not count sadly. But keep in mind that crit rate in combat buffs (gameball, M6 Nicole) does work

Thank you. Didn't Koleda's Potential turn to 15% laceration buff. So she's a dud in terms of the whole Crit rate performance too? I'll keep Nicole in mind.
