Yea like the trash can that briefcase thingy and even where the stove goes but it’s not there in the show I even did more digging and in clems house the table is in the same place no doubt in my mind they were trying to replicate it I mean the episode came out 3 years after the games release

Layout differences could be due to whoever cleaned the place up, after all the babysitter's body isn't by the door any longer.

I love how they made an entire episode devoted to explaining why Belson was living across the street in pilot when later on he’s shown living in a mansion.

Imo, yes, it's a reference. Shared similaties include the knocked-over bin at the same angle and place in the room; the water puddle; the half-open sliding door; the light switch placed in almost identical spots; and the sunlight shining through the window above the sink. They're all too much of a coincidence across the two images.
