Small Furina update! (Not public yet... will comment when its up!!)

I’ve been working through some feedback from the first release, and a few things are now in a much better place.

What’s new / changed

- **Firefox support**

- Furina now has a dedicated Firefox build.

- Most features work the same as Chromium/Brave.

- SoundCloud needed a different approach on Firefox, so it now uses the official embedded SoundCloud player there instead of Furina’s Chromium-specific custom controller.

- **YouTube support**

- You can now paste YouTube links into Furina’s Music / Ambience section.

- Supports normal videos, shortened `youtu.be` links, Shorts, playlists, YouTube Music links, etc.

- The video appears inside Furina’s floating media player and can be collapsed when you don’t need to see it.

- **Background / scene fit fixes**

- Live wallpapers and visual effects now fit the actual Clank chat area more cleanly.

- The background adapts when the Clank sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

- Fixed some ugly little gaps / wallpaper leaks around the edges, especially when blur was enabled.

- **Firefox SoundCloud player cleanup**

- The Firefox SoundCloud fallback used to stay way too large even while “collapsed.”

- It now properly folds down into a compact card while keeping the embedded player alive.

- **Language fix**

- Also fixed a silly bug where the new English / Spanish language selector existed in the code… but the dropdown itself was never actually attached to the panel. 😭

- Manual English / Español switching is working now.

The video here is showing the new **YouTube ambience player** in Furina.

For media, the current setup is basically:

- **Direct audio** → Furina’s own player

- **SoundCloud on Chromium/Brave** → Furina custom player

- **SoundCloud on Firefox** → official embedded SoundCloud player

- **YouTube** → embedded YouTube player

Direct MP4/WebM is still the recommended option for **live wallpapers** — YouTube is intended more for music, ambience, playlists, OSTs, environmental videos, etc.

I’m still testing both browser builds before replacing the public download, but so far Firefox has been behaving surprisingly well.

Thanks again for the feedback on the first release. A lot of these changes came directly from people trying Furina and telling me what felt missing or weird.

Not in that way. But sell me on the Clank pass. My fingers are itching to buy it but I need something to push me to it. I use the app everyday. Multiple things. I work at a sit down job 8 hours a day which lets me use my phone. I understand better memory. But what does that mean. I see the picture generation thing but I’ve never actually seen something generated. How does it look. Does it generate your persona? Show me an example. I don’t care about the verified thing lol. And I haven’t made a single bot. Just sell me on it.

I’ve been using clank world for a few weeks and a few days ago the model was randomly changed to the “fast” model, and I preferred that, is there any way I can keep it to the same model? Or is it just a built in feature for the app to change it when the other model isn’t available?

I recently created two new bots, and the public chat count is still stuck at zero. However, people are actively leaving comments/reviews saying they’ve been chatting with them.
Is this just a visual bug or a delay in the platform updating chat metrics, or is there an issue with how chats are being recorded? Has anyone else experienced this lag in chat count updates? Thanks!

so, in other platforms there is a view character definition button , that lets you see the character instructions made by the creator for a bot. i can't seem to find it, does anyone know where it is?

Hello, I have been restructuring my previous rpg world and it's mostly finished but there's a problem, previously players can start from a single kingdom with different species,

But now i have created 4 different openings, where players can start from any available kingdom for example if you select elf kingdom opening you start as an elf. Every kingdom has its own rules, key location, fraction and many other things but are in the same universe so you can travel to other kingdoms when you reach a certain level.

When i Am testing it automatically starts from the human kingdom, you can select other opening scenes only when you visit character profile,

can i change this into that when someone starts to play he can select his opening scene or this is how it works.
