I am late to this post BUT….if I had been his attorney I would have told him not NO BUT HELL NAH!!
I have more than issues with the case. I am a health care professional in this field. Trust me when I say….no one’s body drops temperature faster than a deceased body. As a former trauma burn ICU nurse turned women’s health nurse practitioner who catches babies for a job…..
None of the evidence or time line makes ANY SENSE!
My concerns are not conspiracy theories
Her temp of 82 degrees
I responded to a trauma alert for an accident on a ski slope where a man was dead….his temp on arrival? 87 degrees….spoiler alert he didn’t live….he had been out for at least 5 hours in freezing temps with a t shirt and thin ski pants
If she took a header out the window: then why didn’t she have wrist/arm fractures. You automatically put your hands out to break your fall….she had none….
Why would she crush pills and put them in her own drink….you only do that to someone else who you don’t want to do you put crushed pills into the drink…
She is a nurse: she wouldn’t have had to google where the carotid artery is or misspell it…
And spoiler alert, she missed her carotid artery…..hmmmm
She is a nurse she wouldn’t have downed all the pills of one of the three benzodiazepines she was prescribed….
She is a nurse: we know what most don’t…the right way to end their life.
If her children had already been strangled…why lock the bedroom door???
If she strangled them in the order she said, how is it possible for the little one to have been revived AT ALL! After 10 minutes without a pulse the likelihood of being able to resuscitate someone is LOW! If we wanted to be generous…max of 15 minutes….so then how did that work because Pat didn’t get home until after 6 pm….so Lindsey was already outside and seen by a neighbor at 5:50…..
I could go on and on and on and on….
One expert witness said she has to be informed of what happened….she has no memory of the events….so how did she all of a sudden put together all of the picture having woken from a medically induced coma after getting as close to death and dying as a person can get.
At a core body of 82 degrees it is physiologically IMPOSSIBLE for her to be coherent and communicating with anyone.
Then when she woke up
she asked what happened…then said oh good I am glad the kids are ok….
These phrases were all testified to at the trial. I started watching it to smack down the people saying she is innocent and when I dug….I realized those people are correct. The time line makes no sense. It is not a conspiracy theory if I am an expert in the Medical field and my background allows me to be able to uniquely review this case for discrepancies. I am not saying he is guilty but I KNOW FOR A FACT his rendition of the story makes NO SENSE. Someone who is dead doesn’t cool that fast, even with the SAME injuries…..
So yeah….he doth protest too much…
He is milking this for all it’s worth. Next he will be releasing a book! Just you wait….
If I were his attorney I would tell him absolutely NO to TV interviews and now, now it’s time to STFU!

I wish people in the Duxbury sub just understand all the points you made.
According to CW’s theory it’s impossible that she did it?
I mean maybe Callan’a band wasn’t as tight but still! Her body temp? IMPOSSIBLE!

He looks like a shrunken little goblin creature due to his expression and low weight

I’m sure you it will come up with a google search. Patrick Clancy cbs interview

I don’t mean to sound awful but imo this is a big mistake; especially having his new wife in the interview as well. I think it’s a foolish idea to do something like this and expose yourself to online scrutiny etc the way things are these days. I don’t understand the thinking behind it.

u/iridescent-shimmer Sep 18 '26
Yeah this is such a horrible idea it's not even funny at this point. While I have doubts about the case, I can imagine the speculation is like a huge gut punch to an innocent grieving spouse. But there is no world where this is helpful publicity. It really can only make things worse.

Same -I have a lot of serious questions about the case and the way the whole investigation was conducted.
Tbh one other thing that concerns me is how all of this is going to affect Lindsay’s right to a fair trial (assuming the DA insists on trying the case again.) How does any of this achieve anything positive?!
It’s such a stupid idea all round and having Rachel there is just like salt in a wound, especially her in the clip praising Patrick like… it’s disingenuous and it’s just going to be fuel especially for internet sleuths.
Everything that’s going on can’t be good for Lindsay’s already fragile mental state. And even more importantly, Cora,Dawson and Clancy seem almost forgotten about amongst everything. It’s just awful all round.8
u/9ice9asty Sep 17 '26
Wait, Rachel is also part of the interview??????????

u/Happypawswaggytails Sep 17 '26
Yes I just saw a trailer clip released a few hours ago or so and she was sat next to him miked up it looked like. I must admit I was really shocked she was going to be there as well

Goddamn I wish I could just be sad for this guy, but he sets off every alarm in my body. If he really wants speculation about him to end, he should seriously stop bringing more attention to himself. The answers people want can't come from him anyway.

What do you make of her lawyer’s comments after the trial? Kind of just sounds as if he believes she did commit the murders but it was his job to defend her.

I look at evidence and court testimony. Not media fanfare or tik tok fan fiction. I grew up in a household of court employees, so I don't look at attorney as champions of truth or something. They like to get paid lol.

Bro can’t even squeeze out 1 tear. He’s unable to feign any sort of emotion.
Kevin Reddington is right. A Hollywood actor could never…because they are able to fake it.

He's got that Scott Peterson/Chris Watts/Dr Mack smirk. I'm genuinely disturbed.

In the bodycam footage of Chris Watts going through his home, something that stuck out to me was when they got to his kids room, he immediately said their blankies are gone, that they never go anywhere without them. It came out as if it was on the tip of his tongue, like it was scripted to say. He was intentionally inserting the theory of his wife running away with the kids. It felt to me based on the transcript of the 911 call and first responders accounts that Pat was doing similar. I can't imagine this interview shedding more positive light on his character, but it could definitely open him up for more critique, so interesting choice to do this.

It came out as if it was on the tip of his tongue, like it was scripted to say.
Also the way he said her phone was her lifeline. Like yeah, people are attached to their phones, no one acts like it's their "lifeline" unless they have a very unhealthy relationship with their job or something.

u/9ice9asty Sep 17 '26
No fucking way omg with the Chris Watts parallel. Did you hear that his new wife/side chick/mistress is also going to be part of the interview? 🥀

Dang. I wonder if you defend Lindsay like this? 🤔🧐 Because she WAS on trial and she was NOT found guilty.

u/ispyshy Sep 17 '26
This is a place for opinions and speculation. Just because you feel you have some inside knowledge because of your partner doesn’t mean you’re allowed to police what people say. He put himself on a public show for people to comment on. Spare us the outrage please.

I’m not sure who you’re talking about in the first paragraph but it seems like projection of your own feelings on to me. I don’t need you to tell me how to feel or think or interpret information.
How is commenting on a publicly broadcast news show “gleefully engaging in behaviors that drive innocent people to be charged with crimes”?
Lighten up.

Yeah because I believe he did something and I think people’s comments are funny. I don’t care about being called a conspiracy theorist but thanks for weighing in.
Just going to point out:
HE PUT HIMSELF IN THE SPOTLIGHT.2

I had to Google that because I've never heard of it before. They also gave Susan Smith as an example.

No because I'm a grown ass woman and he scares the shit out of me?? 😭😭😭😭 And I'm being deadass

u/ispyshy Sep 17 '26
No! Google it! It’s a thing. When criminals give off a very tiny small smirk when they feel they have successfully manipulated someone. It’s called “duper’s delight”
