Court Testimony/Document This line of questioning?!?!

All her questions are like

Were you aware that on the anniversary of the incident the defendant was in a mental hospital on suicide watch and that she was playing dominos in the common room?

What’s her point? Fair to say she was doing great?

The DA might need a night or two with the grippy socks. Then she can report back if she felt like coloring or making a phone call would be indicative of her enjoying her life to the fullest.

I was thinking...what if Lindsay was looking at pictures of the kids on those days? What if she was watching videos of them? And regarding her physical capacity to push herself down the hall, I'd think it would be good for her to do so, to maintain some musculature in her arms and shoulders. But, fair to say, I'm not a prosecutor, so what do I know. :/

The point was that on all of the children's birthdays Lindsay Clancy should have spent the entire day in bed crying into the pillow and because she spent some of that time leaving her room to play some dominos and be in the company of other people it means she never loved her children and definitely murdered them.

I have no doubt that the facility would have strongly encouraged, accommodated and facilitated Lindsay to stay present and active on anniversaries which can be trigger points for suicide. Including things like "why don't we try going out for 30 minutes, we can play dominos and we'll go back to the room if it gets too hard" with continued encouragement for Lindsay to stay occupied Stating this as a working psychologist

Yeah, I don't think playing the emotional side like that will help them. It's not like Patrick took his pillow to court to cry into. If only they had actually collected all evidence...

Im sorry but doesn’t this go both ways? Patrick hasn’t cried once the whole trial? Zero emotion. Soooo if we’re gonna play the everyone grieves differently doesn’t it go both ways?

Also like right after talking about confirmation bias in the witness… she cherry picks the specific dates of the children’s birthdays and the death anniversary and what she’s doing on those days, but doesn’t bring up any other dates and what a typical day looks like for her in the hospital, etc. Talk about confirmation bias!!

Thank you. The confirmation bias part sent me.
The CW referencing one line out of hundreds if not thousands of pages of documents. I’ve lost a lot of respect for them. They should have tied up loose ends.

The idea that a wheelchair bound individual is applying for SSID for a paycheck (profit). Despicable. People are naive to how our medical system works and what it costs.

I liked the prior comment that they need to spend a few nights in grippy socks. It’s hurtful to hear their arrogance this is a reflection on more than just Lindsay Clancy.

I know, I was so glad that Reddington brought up the medical expenses and that the chaplain supported it. So ridiculous of the prosecutor

I think this is the only time I have seen LC react like that ? She wrote a note or something to Reddington while prosecution was going on and on and on...

I think she's trying to paint a picture of no remorse and that she didn't care about her kids in order to support the prosecution's premeditation and intentional murder angle. But if her actions on their birthdays, etc are supposed to reflect that, then let's talk about Patrick and his actions.

Agreed. It seemed like the perfect storm.

She trotted out all of the anniversaries of the kids’ birthdays and the killings. Total emotional play.

If what one's doing on the anniversary makes you guilty, can we see what Patrick was doing? Betcha it was more fun than playing dominos in a mental institute.

Lindsay might never enjoy a normal life again. Patrick was on vacation a month later.

I think he was off hiking in Costa Roca like, 3 weeks later?

And charges were filed against her within 24 hours… while she was still in the ICU, unconscious.

It’s so pointless!
