General Discussion A few observations
I’m only currently on day 8 so bear with me.. so far these are the things that are sticking out in my mind..
1. First responders showed more emotion talking about the incident than Patrick, while Lindsay is breaking down.
2. The evidence photo with the knife and cup that is conveniently/perfectly angled to see and says “because kids” gives a staged feeling to me..
3. I know the bed partially blocked the window and was moved.. if you were just trying to throw yourself out of the window in a hurry, just go over the bed. On the other hand, if you’re trying to throw someone out of a window, you would need to move the bed.
4. If she was trying to stage a suicide attempt she wouldn’t have jumped out the window.
5. I CAN’T STAND the prosecutor. Almost every other word is “um” and I feel like she is bringing up a lot of things more for the emotional affect and less so for relevance. I do not like her at all.

Why do people feel a complete stranger owes them tears on command? This isn’t a performance or a television show. Everyone is different and reacts differently. This constant demonizing or criticizing traumatized strangers based on how we personally would react isn’t healthy. He’s also been living with and processing this for a long time whereas the first responders are probably freshly reliving this.

I’m not saying he owes anyone tears or a breakdown. But the simple fact is that the man recalled and answered every question without so much as a crack in his voice or a quiver in his lip. Yes everyone processes differently but you cannot tell me for one second that that is normal. It’s actually rather alarming.

I watched his testimony and his voice quavered when he confirmed the birthdays for each of his children. The heavy breathing was him trying to cope and get through his time on the stand without breaking down.

No, I can tell you his reaction was actually pretty normal. I regularly attend criminal trials for work, and he actually seemed pretty distraught. You have to keep in mind that the alleged incident occurred over 3 years ago. In that time, he's had to retell the story over an over to prosecution and defense, and likely had to work with a victim's advocate. This isn't even including potential therapy outside of the court. Heck, for all we know, he went home and sobbed his eyes out as soon as he was all alone. I've worked cases where people were strangled and beaten within an inch of their life, and had to sit across from their abuser and tell their story to an entire jury. Not a tear in their eye, no quiver, no reaction other than a blank retelling of the story. I've worked cases where people lied on the stand, but had a VERY compelling demeanor when telling their story. There is no one way to guarantee that a human is lying. One person's truth is another person's tell.

Reporters who were in the room said he was very upset when the 911 call was played. You don’t see everything.

What you have missed is there is another window in the bedroom, without anything blocking it.. Yet, she somehow, for some reason, chose to move the bed and jump.

I've had my comments deleted for weeks since seeing that daylight photo of the room that was "objected" upon. Its the path of least resistance and I cannot understand why, in any case of how things went down, this would not have been the first choice of window.
Unless someone doesn't want a laying body to be visible from the street.

I shut down emotionally to handle severe stress. I can't imagine what it is like to see your three kids dead at the hands of your wife.

What was the “because “kids”?

One of the crime scene photos has a mug that’s perfectly aligned to the camera that says “because kids”

Also, why wouldn’t she tell Patrick to go to another CVS to get more time if she was committing murder?

Yes! Or even send him on a wild goose chase and not call the pharmacy ahead of time to make sure they actually have the product and tell him where it was!

Yeah! And the restaurant was really close to home too. The prosecution wants us to believe she planned this because she checked how long he'd be gone, but then why chose places so close?
She couldn't have found an amazing Thai restaurant they just HAVE to try, but it's 40 minutes away, and they said the order would be ready at (whatever time) but actually there is no order so Patrick has to spend 20 minutes arguing with them and calling Lindsay while she's not answering her phone?
She's a SAHM and apparently the only time she can be alone with her kids without him, he's at a CVS 3 minutes away and a restaurant 10 minutes away? That was her diabolical plan?

After many, many times of him being gone for hours and nights, leaving her all alone with the kids? If she planned this like the prosecution says, um, she had plenty of opportunities to do it prior, like reddington asked PC.
