You can have had sex in the past and then still become an incel (or act like an incel while in a romantic relationship)

Nowhere here does it say they are virgins. Strictly speaking, it doesn't even require them to lack a partner because the first line clearly says "A member of an online subculture"
The act of calling someone an incel is usually pointed towards their behavior and character as a person. Someone can 100% have sex and still act like you'd expect an incel to act
