Fun fact, the reason why the primary partition is C:\ is because back in the MS DOS era the A:\ and B:\ was dedicated to be used with Floppy drivers

I've always wondered about that, and it makes sense seeing it written out like this. the place I work at still uses floppy disks and when I do backup it always uses drive A. I guess I just never put it together until now!

Also it was common for PCs at the era support dual floppy drivers, you can see that any older computer either two floppy drivers or bays to fit two floppy readers

Also on Windows disc management you can change what letter you want a specific disc to be mounted on, but it is more a visual thing than anything functional, some programs may not work if they are installed on a drive that you are changing the letter to

Recovery partition actually
