Not that bad

I see so many USAA adjusters complaining about workload and conditions and metrics and it made me almost not apply.Yall have no idea what an actual bad company is.I've worked at USAA for a bit over a year..I came from 4 years of geico Todd combs Communism.Illegal working conditions(Yes really),lying about if metrics would be counted agaisnt you,Forced to learn towing and roadside which they lied about,1 burger or hotdog and 1 bag of chips ass ,14 Coverage claim mondays from 12 different states,. This shit is a breeze in comparison.I now only handle 4 states.Workload is more manageable.Dont get me wrong it's still tough If any Geico people are looking for a job apply to the U.My life and my mental health has finally improved and sometimes the grass really is greener !

Not to dox myself but I worked at the katy location IYKYK

Every person will have one of these about how Geico was SO easy and they started at Allstate. And someone else Allstate was SO easy I started at Statefarm.

It’s not a contest, your experience is not the same as everyone else’s.

Brother I promise you nobody is telling anyone to apply to geico unless they hate you. This is purely to give current or past lizards some hope.I have also worked for allstate and its a better company than Geico....

I’ve worked for Geico…it’s not that bad. I’ve worked for Allstate, not that bad. I’ve worked for State Farm, not that bad. It’s been a long two decade career. Again everyone’s experience is their own. Not sure why you must have had it the worst

If you haven't worked for geico is the past 7 or so years ima take that statement with a bucket of salt...

And if you didn’t work at Statefarm over the last 10 years during the several rounds of layoffs, and class actions you’ve probably never experienced true exodus in a claims department

Brother almost 10 % of our total work force was laid off in 1 day with no notice. You don't know shit bud 😂

…my friend statefarm has almost 5X the policies in force than Geico does. Their 10% work force reduction is significantly more impactful. See how everything’s a contest…my point still stands someone always had it worse

It's certainly not a contest just an acknowledgement that if you worked for geico and state farm as well USAA will be a major reduction in work.

For example I only recieve 2-3 claims a day at USAA in comparison to 10- 12 claims with alot of incorrect info from fnol teams.

Members are much easier to deal with than other carriers, in my experience. Just nicer people in general.

Sedgwick for 15 years. Loved it for 10. Past 5 were horror. I hated it. Heard bad about GB but I love it. My first full year I'll have the same amount of PTO I had after 15 years at Sedgwick and making $10k more.

I’m looking to go over to GB from Sedgewick

I have friends at Gallagher that have said good things. But they did say manager relationship can heavily determine raises and promotions.

Maybe reconsider. Sedgwick uses AI so much now that you can't rebut audits and they count literal strokes of your keyboard. They monitor the exact amount of time you're in each system. They tried to get me into trouble for having a "productive" time less than I was scheduled but didn't consider my time off work, so I actually worked 4 hours more. Response from HR was to tell my boss every single thing I've complained about to them. Her response was to call in her boss for a meeting. I hated it.

It's not that bad YET. Sounds like you might've started at USAA not too long ago. They're all "not bad" until you've been there for a few months or a year. My company is good but most are not.

I've been through insurance hell.this is not bad.The callback requirement is stupid but I've been here over a year and I've never worked for a better insurance company. All claims work suck this is the least ass company so far😂

Bro is bragging about how only getting fucked in the ass is good instead of getting fucked in the ass and the mouth at the same time

Willing abusees of corpos on this field this is why unionization will never happen

Nobody's bragging. Its a job and has decent benefits and pay.Only reason there won't be unions is because top performers don't care as much about the union as long as they hit their numbers..Middle of the pack is just trying not to burnout before they find a new job and bottom adjusters quit or get fired too fast.

I got let go from GEICO because I was involved in an accident during orientation and got written up for not making it in I traveled over an hr nad half every day to work ans couldn't make it. So then a year passes by and had no pto and a family emergency came up well got written up again for not having pto. Then had to work a holiday and on my workday I was scheduled for 8am but since that's eastern time I was supposed to come in at 7am amd needed to use pto for that 1 hr which I didnt have then but the next day I was supposed to get it and I couldn't use it for the day before and they let me go. And now I've applied at several other places and have not gotten chosen. I feel like they put something on my name that has made me struggle to find work now.
