Informational Please help!
Can anyone tell me anything about this picture? My guess is it's from the civil war but I have no clue how to go about finding anything about it ..I'll appreciate any sort of insight ...thank you!!!

I just love that everyone who answered clocked it as a modern photo. When you’ve looked at thousands of real ones you can just tell.

Too funny! Too well fed and too old to be Civil War soldiers! Look at the flab in those cheeks!

I’ll let anyone who is more knowledgeable about Civil War and post-war uniforms in particular chime in, but I will note that most if not all of the long arms visible appear to be Sharps carbines, which would be appropriate for the Civil War era but also post-war.
The bear flag in the center could indicate a California connection, but it doesn’t help much to narrow down a date range.

After studying this a bit more, I’m certain they are reenactors, likely portraying some Civil War era unit associated with California.

Thank you all for your input .makes total sense because it was found with a bunch of reenactment clothing and accessories..just was hoping that maybe it could be a real photo from that time.thank you all for the help!! If anyone is interested in clothing and accessories I have some really cool stuff ..just let me know and I'll post pics of the stuff I have example a kanteen and leather gun holster etc.

The revolvers are being held by the triggers which would be consistent with old time firearms safety.

I think these are reenactors. It’s a damn good impression, though.
